1. I've had two of these in the past and absolutely love them. Only play 5 strings nowadays, but I'm wondering if I can somehow convert this to a 5 stringer?
2. If only it were a bit lighter in weight
3. Taking my wife's MINI in for a service at a main dealer and getting a courtesy car in return this Thursday and they have asked for my NI number. As we never usually use main dealers I've never encountered this before. Not a big problem but just never needed to before.
4. Welcome from sunny Buxted, East Sussex. What's taken you so long
5. Cliff Williams - nothing fancy (at all), but just locks in with Phil Rudd and drives the songs along. In my eyes that's what a bass player does (and leave the fancy stuff to guitards)
6. Having had two RB850's (and thought they were absolutely wonderful) and now play 5 string bass I am sorely tempted. Just got to see what the bank balance is like
7.
You've sorted out what you want, had it built and you're happy as hell. Five years later and GAS starts gnawing at your brain
This. I had a stunning £7000 British made GUS G1. Loved it to bits. Sold it for a fraction of what I paid for it and now play an £800 Cort (which I also love and am not worried if I knock it or even if it gets stolen).
8. Trade for a Warwick Pro-Series Starbass V plus a bit of cash?
9. As a matter of interest, how much does it weigh?
10. AC/DC Rammstein Deep Purple Mk. 2
11. Oh, that is a beaut. Oh I wish I had the readies As a matter of interest, how much does it weigh?
12. If only it hadn't been defretted Oh I wish I had the money
13. The first few songs from the wedding/function band I've just joined. I would never ever listen to them normally (being an AC/DC and Rammstein lover) but the punters absolutely love them (and pay us well to play them too, so who am I to complain). PS. After seeing the Reel Big Fish version mentioned a while back on BC we now do their version of Brown Eyed Girl (probably the song I hate most in the world. Quite like it now Everybody needs somebody Dancing On The Ceiling Summer of 69 Hard Day’s Night Proud Mary La Bamba / Twist and Shout / Great Balls of Fire Angels Saturday Nights Alright for Fighting Star Girl Brown Eyed Girl Get Lucky Happy Moves like Jagger Forget you
14.
Will there be the usual deafening slap-fest demos this year? Will probably give my ears a rest this year.
I've been the last two years. Not again.
15.
I don't want to have the hassle of battery changing. I like to keep things very simple and straightforward, less to go wrong, and less likely to forget something. I don't want any more knobs to play with, I have quite sufficient.
This
16. Mark bought a compressor pedal from me. Easy transaction. Loads of communication. Great guy.
17. Nobody has mention GUS Guitars. If they were good enough for Prince...........

I wouldn't be without my Boss ME50B. Just like a load of Boss pedals stuck together. Good old fashioned buttons and knobs and no complicated programming.
19. Wonderful basses. I've had two fretless and one of the fretted version (the one with the 80's pointed headstock). If I didn't now play 5 stringers I'd be after this like a shot. So light. So comfortable and a lovely deep resonant sound. GLWTS (I wonder if I could convert it to 5 strings?
20. I play 'ordinary' bass parts so a low B string just saves me moving too far from the 5th fret. I couldn't see me ever needing a C string, so it's low B for me every time.
21.
I have played some gigs where I would pay good money for that kind of filtering.

Someone had to say it.
So True
22. I bought the isolate titanium ones and couldn't hear the higher notes of the guitar at all. Attenuated the bass, drums and keys beautifully but not much good if you can't hear the guitar
23. Absolutely beautiful. If I had the money ........
