1. my dream colour, and the year of my birth... I would kill for this but I already have an 82' (albeit in the wrong colour) and cant justify two of these lovely weapons. have a free bump...
2. Knights Of Cydonia (as was tabbing it out for someone else). Good fun to play indeed
3. no-one has mentioned the new Zender Sig model? That looks v sexy IMO, but the price is a little daft for a 4 string bass. Promised myself a Warwick when I reach 40, so only 10 yrs to go! haha!
4.
Great playing, but considering his stage attire and presence AND that bass, I find myself strangely sidetracked by the guy in the nappie.
+1 to the nappy guy.
5. very very good price for a nice piece... cant understand who someone hasnt snapped it up!
6. Cliff Burton's fuzzwah neo-classical stuff for me
7. The new MIA Standard 4's are amazing. Great build quality and loads of improvements on the last lot (IMO) - the sound of mine has "changed the whole band sound" according to much of the audience! You wont go wrong with one... highly recommend
8.
Like this April 1979 example? Thinking of moving this on if anybody interested...
Thats an absolute beauty. I think my horn for them is due to a certain Mr C Burton. Would absolutely love it but given I already have one (albeit in the wrong colour) and spent out on a new P-Bass 2 months ago I cannot afford (or justify!) another bass
9. This is a lovely thing - have a free bump. JackBruce-tastic
10. For me it has to be the old fireglo 4001's, or the classic sunburst & tort PG P bass.
11. That sound is real nice with the acoustic bass for that album, it complements the sound so well - helps that he plays quite tasteful and melodic lines along with Sean (who is a massively underrated drummer imo)
12. devastatingly loud cab for not many bucks, someone will have a piece of this action very soon methinks!!!
13. Particularly on "Nutshell".
14. how does he get that extremely sweet sound? Its a really lovely bass sound that suits the Unplugged set perfectly.
15. the SVT610HLF is the best cab ive ever - EVER - owned. Awesomely phat sound, it has wheels and skid rails and a bar on the top so its relatively easy to move around. I think they can chuck out 1200w peak if you really need it! You wont be disappointed with one of those bad boys.
16. Wrong time of year for me sadly, id absolutely, TOTALLY love this to partner my 6x10 particularly IVO the dist channel being built in too. Have a free bumperoo... someone is gonna get a MEGA amp here.
17. Im going to be trying Dood's one of these out tonight at my gig... could potentially be in the market for one if its as awesome as it sounds on here!
18. sh1t the bed... thats a stunning bass Beeds.... glad you have found "the one" mate! Truly lovely thing. Id also like to second your experience with V&R. I found them to be very good when I bought my Les Paul bass, including after sales support when there was a little issue with the bridge that needed sorting. well done pal!
19. very interesting and immaculately kept amp that id never seen before, have a free bump sir!
20.
I need to keep up, I thought she was in the Halo Friendlies
Ahhhh, the Pumpkins. My favourite band of all time. Three bass players in their time, all female, all different, all fit, and all P-Bass players. Splendid.
21.
Wath out for weight issues with later 70's P's. There's some monsters out there!
+1 to this, seriously. There's one in Angel Music that weighs about as much as an aircraft carrier, truly staggeringly heavy.
22. I must say ive been blown away by mine, after never having owned one since before last week in 15 years+ of playing. Versatile yet simple, effective in almost any situation. Everyone should have one!
23. CATHEAD
24. I have a sunburst P... ...oh dear.
25. Rog! Legend. Went to see him do DSOTM 3 years running, some of the best gigs ive ever seen. Im liking the black + black pickguard combo, very nice Buzz!
