1. 'Zis amplifier is now *sold* pending payment!!!
2. Ahahahahahaha! I recognise that!!! Its a beast of a cab. The only reason I sold it is because its quite deep width-wise, sound-wise its classic Trace Series 6 loveliness! For £120 again I think its a barg. You wont find much info about it, what little I found out was in this lil` document http://www.britishaudioservice.com/inst/SERIES%206.pdf Hope that helps! Matt is a good man to deal with too
3. and oh yer sorry about the fag burns lol
4. For sale, rather reluctantly, is my fantastic Ampeg B2RE amplifier! These amps are absolutely superb - 450 watts of pure power into a 4 ohm cabinet. Ampeg stuff as we all know is built like military hardware, its legendarily tough and this is no exception. Its also protected by a Gator 2U rack case, the best in the business - lockable as well, all the latches work perfectly. I like to look after my kit . For the amp and the case at gak.co.uk = Amp is £521, case is £74 - so grab yourself a deal! Im only selling because ive just about to acquire an SVT Pro, and I dont need two heads. The amp even comes with the warranty tag still attached and the original manual, so you'll be buying an amp which still has 4 years warranty left on it at least! The only issue is that I removed the rubber feet to get it in the flight case, which I have since lost, but I imagine you will want to keep this racked anyway so it doesnt get any unsightly knocks to it - its been racked since day one of purchase so doesnt have a single scratch on it. Im looking for £350 for the lot, given its condition, the warranty, and the current price for both amp and rack I think thats a fair price. Im also in no rush to sell it... so not really wanting any offers ta, although any interesting pre-amp or bass trades will of course be entertained! More than welcome to come round and give it a whack through my SVT cab, or bring your own cabs - drop me a PM if interested
5. Just like to say, I used this amp for many years (not exactly sure how many) and its a cracker. For the money asked its a great deal! Big thumbs up for the compressor on here as well, really good comp.
6. ??? why has this not been sold? Amazing price
7. I was present watching Dood using those Hartke's at "Bass'N'Biscuits" on Monday - it really is his tone, the tone I heard the first time I saw him aaaaaages ago with 2x Hartke 4.5's and an SVT2 on top (although on Monday it was a V-Type... still valvey lol). Im still GASsing for certain things, may be buying what in essence is my dream amp over the weekend... watch this space - hopefully that will be the end of my "tone search"!

12. Evening all... Here's some pictures of tonight's impromptu mini bass bash hosted by BassCat and attended by myself and Dood. Tea / biscuits / effects fiddling / new amp and cab playing, all jolly good. 13. lol, a mini bass bash, with a Rick-O-Sound box? pictures to appear, errr... in a few mins lol
14. I love my SVT610HLF, I dare say I would love it even more if it actually saved my life. All hail the enormous wood and tolex beasties!!!
15. we should have chunked this out at the mini bass bass earlier with that fretless sound on mah pedal! w00t!
16. This is great. I do love New Forms, a lot of people dont quite understand why I do.... since I play rock and like, well, rock mostly. I remember this performance, I learned the line on my fretless.
17. Best colour for Rics IMO... good luck, I imagine this wont be here for long...
18. Awesome awesome awesome cabs, best ive ever owned. A very happy new owner awaits this... dont forget they are on wheels and have a roll bar so not as unmanageable as one might think... (yes I am a big fan of them. lol) free bump!
19. Spoon and whisk! Lol you are a funny chap some times DJV!!!! bring this to the next mini bass-bash!
20. If that Hiscox one can fit my LP in id have a look at that - not sure it will as per warwickhunt's post but I guess its worth a try? I would probably pay about £120 for the right case, so £80 for a brand new one is a good deal.
21. Hmmm, ive now been offered one of the "newer" Les Paul cases - looks like the case is probably from the 80's. It's also got a price - £170 - which I think is way OTT... I am right to think thats ridiculous arent I? The guy bought it from the States by the look of it and is taking into account the tax & import charges.
22. Music Of The Mind by Jamiroquai is a fab one to groove along to and have a bit of an impro as well :-)
23. I absolutely adore my Ric 4001. It suits the music I play mostly (DP, Zep etc) tremendously. Wouldnt consider getting rid of it ever... although I must say after playing it for 9 years, picking up my USA Precision last year has opened my eyes to the beauty of a nice easy to play Fender as well
24. Hi Warwick - I dont think it will... the Gibbo is rather "phat". Length wise its OK, in fact perhaps too long considering the LP's short scale.
25. Cheers for the replies chaps - it turns out its a case for an EB3L or EB4L so isnt suitable anyway... back to the hunt!
