1. Posting on behalf of a friend. The original eBay link is here : http://cgi.ebay.co.u...#ht_6277wt_1396 And another link is here : http://www.guitarmar...k/advert/G14527 Unsure how long it will be up for, so I'll also post a link to a gumtree ad when it is created. A great example of a Fender Strat, plays very well and sounds lovely. No rear cavity cover or string tree or tremolo arm. It's been shielded with copper by myself. Drop me a private message and I'll answer any questions you need answered about it.
2. Just had a look on the net, turns out this bass was made in 1986. A great chance to own some (not quite original) history.
3. A couple of images, as promised. If you fancy some more, I can take them in the next couple of days.
4. Having a clear out, looking to move on one of my basses. One of the nicest, slimmest necks I've played on, with a classic P/J combo and active preamp. Made in 1986 (I think). The previous owner has added a tremolo system to this, it's not one of the Kahler style ones, but more similar to the typical guitar tremolo. It works well, has been done nearly and the strings run true. It could do with being recessed into the body, but the action is fine, and is such a giggle. I'm asking £130 plus delivery which is what I paid for it. It will be packed in a ratty soft case and a proper guitar box. It's been set up by Mark in Glasgow as well, great chap who did a fantastic job. Since that, the control cavity has been shielded, and is nice and quiet. Pictures to follow!
5. Hi all - got a well used 410TX to move on. Sounds massive, but is just too big for the flat. The covering is a bit tatty in places, so it's not a pristine example. The tweeter has been removed by the previous owner as it was faulty, I have not missed it at all. A switch has been added by me on the front panel to swap between 8ohm and 2ohm operation (useful if you're using one of Peavey's mega 2 ohm bass heads). All I'm asking for is £75, and I am in the West End of Glasgow. An image can be found here : http://www.gumtree.c...s-cab/101507332 Shoot me a PM and I can get some more images once I get it out of it's hiding place...

10. Thanks everyone, I'm really pleased with how it's turned out. Needs a bit of a tweak to get the MF driver down a tad (haven't stuck that L-pad in yet) but it's a capable little cab. Probably going to either paint it or get some form of covering, haven't really decided yet.
11. After a day of building, the cab is playable. Sounds quite good to my ears as well! The only issue with it is possibly the weight - this will happily vibrate about the floor when played loud enough. Needs some form of finishing, but apart from that it's done!
12. The LA6 turned up yesterday with a warped basket... sending it back today for a replacement. My caps and coils arrived, so I'll get started on the crossover layout. Pictures to follow!
