1.
If you decide to split I'd defo take the amp at a sensible price.
I'll send you a PM Now
2. Hi All I absolutely adore this cab, sounds awesome, versatile and just deliciously brilliant. It's in nigh on showroom condition and has got a fitted cover. So if so perfect... why get rid? It's got the ultimate problem for me... A distinct lack of Portability! Don't get me wrong compared to my old Ampeg setup, this is a proper walk in the park and for it's size and stature it's reasonably portable. However, I have a long term back injury and for me however this isn't going to work out (it's one of those it's not you it's me scenarios haha)! The ideal scenario is I want to trade this for something considerably more portable and with that in mind I would ideally like it to go as the complete setup as everything compliments each other perfectly! So if anyone has one of the following setups or similar for trade hit me up... Orange SP212 cab TC Electronic RS212 You can witness the fitness right here with my lovely Jazz Bass plus some more detailed photos! Any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Please note that the Head has now sold. I look forward to hearing from you! Tim
3. Hi All This is an absolutely stunning guitar, beautifully constructed, sounds amazing and plays like a dream. The Guild bigsby is beautiful and just adds a bit more versatility. It comes with the Guild hard case and all case candy. I've done a few upgrades just to make this guitar even more special. I've had Hipshot Griplock locking tuners fitted, beauty of these is they come with UMC plate and this means that it's not had to be re-screwed. The tune-o-matic bridge imho wasn't perfect with the Bigsby so I've had a Vanson roller bridge fitted to make it work much better. Original parts will be included. I've Just had it setup to play like an absolute demon by Matt Bascetta of House of Tone. Just to note it has 2 cracks in the lacquer, these are not deep and they are not deep. Matt confirmed that this is not structural, it doesn't go with the grain and does not affect playability. I'm based just outside of Chester. I would like to trade this for a Fender Jazzmaster TVL Signature or a Sunburst, Burgundy Mist or Olympic White (or an interesting none regular colour) MIJ/CIJ/Classic Player, a 72 Telecaster Deluxe (Walnut/Black) or a 72 Thinline Tele. Thanks for looking. Tim
4. Bought an EBS Octabass from Simon, arrived well packaged and really quick. Deal with confidence.
5. Bought an SFX modded Bassballs from Jose, great communications, well packaged and arrived über quick. Deal with confidence.
6. Received a '60/'61 concentric jazz set from John, well constructed and has made my house of tone custom house specials really come to life. Thanks once again good sir. Deal with the utmost confidence.
7. Hi All KiOgon of this here parish has built me a concentric control plate and Matt Bascetta has just done me a pair of custom wound House Of Tone House specials for my 2002 60's Mexican Jazz Bass Reissue. So the stock pickups and stock control plate are now up for grabs... There's absolutely nothing wrong with these pickups or control plate, fully functional and it they sound pretty goddamn sweet tbf. I would like £40 for the whole lot and that includes postage. Any questions please drop me a line. Regards Tim
8. If I was to pop this on a Jazz Bass, if I wanted to put the ashtray on would it fit over it?
9. Good Day All. So I'm putting up my 14 year old Stingray, sublime player, sounds awesome and is a real head turner. This started life as a SR4 black, matching headstock and black guard... However I've changed over a few things to get the absolute most out of this bass... I've replaced the stock preamp (this will be supplied) with a John East MMSR 3 band which just retrofits in, I won't bore you all with the details of what this does as I'm sure you all know what it does. I've put a Seymour Duncan SMB4D, original will be supplied, this really opens up the tone and works seamlessly with the east preamp and replaced the stock guard out with a grey pearloid guard, simply because it looks funkier. I've also swapped the tuner for a hipshot bass X-tender again for the simplicity of providing versatility. Now... If you're looking for an absolute pristine, unmarked bass... Then stop reading now. However if you're looking for a well loved, solid, awesome playing & sounding bass then this could well be the one for you, and at a considerable snip in comparison to the new list price and certainly superior in quality to it's SBMM brothers, I have tried my level best to get photos in with any dings, scuffs, chips or the like in. I've also take a sot of the heal where the paint has come away, this was like this when I got the bass but I've ensured that it can't go any further. It doesn't effect playability at all. Currently set up with La Bella Deep Talkin' bass strings, Weighs circa 4kgs or 8.8lbs (can be more accurate of required) in imperial. So not massive heavy, but not stupidly featherweight but sits nicely and is really well balanced IMHO. The nut width is 42.5mm. Comes with a a hard case which keeps the bass as it should. So... The nitty gritty... I am truly loathed to sell this but, something has come up that I simply cannot refuse and something of course has to give. So taking into account overall condition but also significant upgrades (east cost over £150 on it's own) I would like £600 shipped & insured or alternatively you can come to Chez McHale have a coffee and be shouted at repeatedly by my Bedlington Terrier, Winston, for the princely sum of £575 Any questions please ask away. Regards Tim
10. Just traded my Markbass setup for Xavier's SWR. Great communications and made it wonderful transaction. Deal with confidence.
11.

The disappointing thing is I would be super interested in hammering out a deal but you're at the other end of Wales to met :-(
12.
I'm not interested in the cab. But I'd love to meet Winston
Are you sure? He does love the sound of his own voice.
13. Hi All. So I'm putting up my Dee Dee Ramone P Bass, sublime player, sounds awesome and is a real looker. The only change I have made to the bass is change the pickguard from the black one supplied (still have this & will be included) to a dark Tortoiseshell. So it almost has a Colin Greenwood from Radiohead vibe. Now if you're looking for an absolute pristine, unmarked bass... This is it! I have tried my level best to get photos in with any dings, scuffs or the like in and I simply cannot find one. Currently set up with D'addario 45 to 105 strings. Weighs circa 4kgs or 9lbs (can be more accurate if required) in imperial. So not massively heavy, but not stupidly featherweight, I think it sits nicely on the shoulders and is really well balanced IMHO. The nut width is 41.3mm. Comes with a Fender Gigbag, which keeps the bass as it should & fender branded strap. For a cash/bank transfer/PayPal. I will do £450 shipped & insured or alternatively you can come to Chez McHale have a coffee/tea/beer and be shouted at repeatedly by my Bedlington Terrier, Winston, for the princely sum of £420. Any questions please ask away. Regards Tim
14. Hello All So I'm putting up my Markbass Standard 151HF bass cab, sounds awesome and is a real head turner. This is now a discontinued model and all the specs can be found here: http://www.markbass.it/product_detail.php?id=32&markbass=Discontinued Now... If you're looking for an absolute pristine, ungigged bass cab... Then stop reading now. However if you're looking for an excellent condition, solid, awesome sounding bass cab then this could well be the one for you and at a considerable snip in comparison to it's recent far eastern relatives. I have tried my level best to get a selection of photos to show scuffs on the plastic corners or the like. But there's not really a great deal to see no rips or tears in the carpet covering. Weighs circa 30kgs or 65lbs (can be more accurate if required) in imperial. So not massive heavy, but not stupidly featherweight and is really well balanced IMHO. So... The nitty gritty... I am not in a rush to sell it, however trades for another Markbass Standard 102HF/104HF would be welcome. Collection from Chez McHale preferred, where you are welcome to stop have a coffee/tea/juice and be shouted at repeatedly by my Bedlington Terrier, Winston, for the princely sum of £325 ovno, alternatively I am happy to deliver within a reasonable distance. I am also happy to courier, as I have plenty of packaging for it, but it will be at buyers expense and arrangement. Any questions please ask away. Regards Tim
