Hi Guys and Girls! My covers band is currently looking for a bassist! We are looking for someone who is between the ages of 20 to 30, committed, Own Transport and equipment and Backing vocal ability preferable but not essential. We're doing a whole array of material from The Who, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Killers, Pulp etc and have done a few paid pubs gigs in various formats but we're looking to step it up a gear, get more gigs with an aim of possibly getting some Wedding and Party work. As it stands I am the current bassist and lead vocalist however we're looking for someone to take over the bass duties so I can concentrate on singing, playing second guitar and the occasional bit of keys. If you think you fit the bill and would like to come and have a jam send me a private message or please drop me an email: Many Thanks Tim

Hi Guys I've decided after a long and careful decision that I'm definitely more of a 6 string player than a 12 string and with a heavy heart I've decided to part company with my beautiful Takamine 12 string I bought this from new in Dawsons in Chester around 15 months ago and i've literally played it on a handful of occasions in that time period and as such It's in immaculate condition, no scuffs, no dings and a few plectrum marks on the pick guard. It looks stunning and the flaming on the back of the body is stunning. It's the most glorious sounding 12 string i've ever heard, really bright and yet warm. very easy to play i've had it professionally set up and the nut replaced by a luthier at a cost of nearly £100 3 months ago and it's now quite simply one of the best 12 strings you'll ever play. Please find some pictures attached: http://s892.photobucket.com/albums/ac126/timmchale/ I'm asking for offers in the region of £300 taking into consideration it'll be restrung with a fresh set of D'addarios, comes with is heavy duty gig bag and the cost of the setup from the luthier. Drop me a line with offers please I would really prefer collection or delivery as I'm dubious of posting acoustic guitars anywhere. But if you insist it'll be at your cost but i guarantee it'll be packed with thorough care. A bit of technical from Takamine: http://www.takamine.com/?fa=detail&mid=741&sid=69 Many Thanks Tim

I want to trade/sell my beloved Mesa Engineering Trem-O-Verb Dual Rectifier 2 x 12 combo. It's in excellent condition (apart from the handle which is not broken it's just a bit tatty looking, it's still as strong as an ox, plus a couple of scuffs here and there but it is an amp that has been gigged but been looked after it, plus it's over 10 years old!) it comes with it's mesa footswitch and has the removable casters. I've never had any issues with the amp and it's always come up with the goods no matter what. It sounds absolutely lush, the clean is amazingly rich but it's that famous dual Rectifier Hi-Gain that will just blow your socks off it just sings especially with my Gibson 335 and infact with just about any guitar that i've put through it to be fair. However this wee beasty is too loud for me currently as i'm only gigging pubs and clubs now. So i'm looking to lower my wattage. Basically i'm really looking for a trade for an Orange (AD30TC or Rockerverb 50). Although I'm not really looking to spend any more cash atm, if you offer me something that really impresses me I am more than willing to put my hand in my pocket or offer you my lovely Takamine 12 String acoustic in part aswell to sweeten the deal. If you're interested in buying the amp make me an offer of around £800, but if it's not enough i'll tell you straight up! I will not and repeat not post this amp it's collection only or delivery for a small fee :-). So come on drop me a line all serious offers will be considered.

Up for grabs here is my Ampeg b410HLF cab, it's got a stupendously rich sound from the horn folded cab and the 4 x 10 speakers add a sensational punch. Sounds great both with my ampeg svt-3 pro (also for sale on this here forum) and my Fender bassman pro 400 and is just an all round lush cab! I am looking for £250 cash and will deliver it within a 50 mile radius but am unable to post due to sheer size which means you're more than welcome to collect. Drop me a line with any questions. Hi Guys Up for sale I have my USA Ampeg SVT-3 pro . It's an absolutely mind blowing rig and sounds stupendously good, however I'm not using it as I intended when i bought it and have ended up using my Fender Bassman 400 pro more often than not. Coupled with the fact i've taken over the sole lead vocal duties in my covers band, rhythm guitar and vocals in my own band and just small scale bass gigs I feel the SVT-3 is just a bit overkill as lovely as it is. Condition wise the Amp is in immaculate condition and is flight cased in a 2u gator hard case (included in sale). Cash wise in an ideal world i'm looking for £450 or make me a reasonable offer! I'll chuck in the speakon to jack cable for connecting the amp to a cab and I have the instruction manual as well. So go ahead make me an offer and I look forward to hearing from you. Tim P.S. i'm more than happy to deliver the amp within a 50 mile radius and am more than happy to post the head unit Technical Blurb Ampeg SVT- 3 Pro: RMS Power Output (8 Ohms): 275-Watts RMS Power Output (4 Ohms): 450-Watts Preamp: Tubes (3 x 12AX7) Driver Tubes: 1 x 12AX7, 1 x 12AU7 Power Amp: Solid-State Tone Controls: 3-Band Mid Tone Control: 5-Position Graphic EQ: Yes, 9-Band Ultra Low/High Boosts: Yes Balanced Line Out: Yes, Pre/Post with Ground Lift and Level Effects Loop: Yes Preamp Out/Power Amp In: Yes Dimensions (W x H x D inches): 19 x 3.5 x 15.5 Weight: 26 Pounds
