1. Up for grabs here is my Ampeg b410HLF cab, it's got a stupendously rich sound from the horn folded cab and the 4 x 10 speakers add a sensational punch. Sounds great both with my ampeg svt-3 pro (also for sale on this here forum) and my Fender bassman pro 400 and is just an all round lush cab! I am looking for £250 cash and will deliver it within a 50 mile radius but am unable to post due to sheer size which means you're more than welcome to collect. Drop me a line with any questions. 2.
Just bought a SVT-3pro from Andy67. Being playing through it for the last 2 hours, it is absolutely KILLER!!! So have a BUMP for a great amp...
Cheers my man! HOpe you enjoy it as much I have enjoyed mine and more so! This thread is bumpaliscious!
3. Hi Guys Up for sale I have my USA Ampeg SVT-3 pro . It's an absolutely mind blowing rig and sounds stupendously good, however I'm not using it as I intended when i bought it and have ended up using my Fender Bassman 400 pro more often than not. Coupled with the fact i've taken over the sole lead vocal duties in my covers band, rhythm guitar and vocals in my own band and just small scale bass gigs I feel the SVT-3 is just a bit overkill as lovely as it is. Condition wise the Amp is in immaculate condition and is flight cased in a 2u gator hard case (included in sale). Cash wise in an ideal world i'm looking for £450 or make me a reasonable offer! I'll chuck in the speakon to jack cable for connecting the amp to a cab and I have the instruction manual as well. So go ahead make me an offer and I look forward to hearing from you. Tim P.S. i'm more than happy to deliver the amp within a 50 mile radius and am more than happy to post the head unit Technical Blurb Ampeg SVT- 3 Pro: RMS Power Output (8 Ohms): 275-Watts RMS Power Output (4 Ohms): 450-Watts Preamp: Tubes (3 x 12AX7) Driver Tubes: 1 x 12AX7, 1 x 12AU7 Power Amp: Solid-State Tone Controls: 3-Band Mid Tone Control: 5-Position Graphic EQ: Yes, 9-Band Ultra Low/High Boosts: Yes Balanced Line Out: Yes, Pre/Post with Ground Lift and Level Effects Loop: Yes Preamp Out/Power Amp In: Yes Dimensions (W x H x D inches): 19 x 3.5 x 15.5 Weight: 26 Pounds

5. And here are a few more pictures for your viewing pleasure I've tried to show the 2 small dings and light surface scratches on the body and also i've shown the cosmetic damage on the head stock. Hope this is of some help, please bare with me i'm not the greatest photographer in the world. Any more questions please feel to ask. Thanks Tim
6. Let's go round again, will add new pictures today :-)

8.
How old/new is this bass?
I believe it to be a 2002/2003 :-) hope this is of some help

10. Hi All! I recently traded this bass for my Roscoe Beck with Anthomp on here! And as lovely as this bass is I just can't get to grips with the fretless neck. It's not a concept I'm used to and I thought it would be easy to pick up considering I play Double Bass as well as Bass Guitar but alas it's not for me. It's a 2002/2003 model. This is a beautiful bass, plays like a dream and sounds lush through both my Fender Bassman Pro and my Ampeg SVT pro. Doesn't suffer from the infamous G string issue and is almost immaculate apart from the buckle rash on the back of the body and a 2 dings on the headstock, a couple of light surface scratches on the body and a couple of dings nothing breaks the surface and nothing affects playability. Will come with the original MM hard shell case and I am more than willing to courier this bass. Ideally i'm looking for a trade for a Stingray or Sterling Fretted or a nice P Bass/J Bass preferably with a maple board (Wishfully a Rickenbacker 4001/4003 perhaps with some cash your way ;-)) Or perhaps a decent g**tar or a good g**tar amp. Cash wise make me a realistic offer, am getting GAS for a certain item on here. Bass is on ebaaahhhh but if someone makes me an offer i can't refuse on here! Look forward to hearing from you! Tim p.s. please excuse the quality of the photos I won't be giving up my day job anytime soon
11. Bump to Anthomp! A great guy to deal with :-)
12. Thanks for the help so far, I doubt i'll go the badass route but nice idea, I think i'll go with the Hipshot then.
13. Hello one and all! I've got a 4003 and I am contemplating upgrading the bridge! Now I know Hipshot do one in Aluminium and Brass, but are there any other bridges that will retro fit in a similar fashion?! Any suggestions?! Any help will be gratefully received. Thanks Tim

16. Hi Guys and Gals I'm back once again trading/selling my Fender Roscoe Beck IV in Crimson Red with a rosewood neck. It's got case candy, some of it used and is in as new condition it's actually only a couple of months old and had very light use. As much as I love this bass, and believe me it's a superb bass, i'm not entirely convinced it's me. I've also got a Rickenbacker 4003 and a Status Groove Bass 5 string and I feel that i'm not getting the use out of the Fender. I was advised to give it another go on here by a couple of people and I have given it a try taken it to a few covers bands practices and recorded with it but not even taken it out gigging as I much prefer my Rickenbacker as I find it gives me "that" Chris Squire sound for my own stuff. Basically i'm looking for something a little more me, and something comepltely different at the same time. Therefore i'm looking for a decent quality fretless bass preferably 4 sting or an Electric Upright Bass. I've been asked to do a couple of audition for a swing band so will want a more Double Bass Tone/Feel. So I guess something like a Fender Jazz Fretless Or Fender P Fretless (USA/Deluxe US if they make them?) Musicman Stingray Fretless, Warwick Streamer/Thumb Fretless or an NS or something of that nature. Alternatively i'll be likely to accept around £900 cash/cheque (to clear first) bare in mind it's around 3 months old, hardly used and near mint condition and I paid £1250. I would prefer buyer to collect but again I am open to negotiation! Make me an offer I just simply can't say no to! Thanks Tim
17. HI Guys I've got a 1985 72 reissue Jazz Bass (sn:a0****6) that i'm thinking of selling. It's in good condition and has a bit of a wear and tear with being 24 years old (like me haha) It's finished in natural so you can see the superb grain and has a maple neck. It's got seymour duncan JB quarter pounders in it to give it better clarity and warmth and it really has improved the quality over the stock pick ups. As i've said it has a few dings here and there and the back of the neck has a few dings and marks on it but nothing that in my opinion affects playability and this is how i purchased it a year ago. I've taken some photos to show the major dings and the back of the neck so i'm not hiding anything. comes with a padded warwick gig bag, spare black pickguard. Reason for selling i've recently purchased a Fender Roscoe Beck IV, Status Groove Bass V and a Rickenbacker 4003 and the jazz bass as lovely as she is has become a bit surplus to requirements. Give me some ideas please and if the price is right we'll have a deal :-) Tim
18. Hahaha! I however don't want to lose that much Doe!
19. Yeah I guess I mean i've had a couple of rehearsals with it, one saturday and one sunday and I've ended up reverting back to my Jazz because I know where I am with it, it just fits the sound I am going for. Maybe this was just one of those rash purchases, sounds great in the shop but when you try to get it to fit what you want it to do outside it's not exactly what you're looking for.
20.
What sort of cash are we talkin here?
PM'd
21. Hi All! Please bare in mind that this is just a feeler, I'm only considering selling. I literally bought this bass, brand new from Back Alley Music, Chester on Saturday and as beautiful and amazing sounding as it is, I'm not quite sure it's me and what I'm looking for from my bass sound, bare in mind I'm also using a 72 reissue Jazz Bass and I feel I would still pick that and use that as my first bass! You'll be aware of the price i've just paid for this, so reasonable ideas/offers will be considered as it is pretty much a brand new bass guitar. It's the transparent crimson red finish with rosewood neck! You can see the grain and it's really a stunner. I still haven't removed the covering from the pickguard. Basically I'm wondering if anyone would be possibly interested in buying it?! If so how much are you willing to offer, bare in mind I would possibly go for a part-ex for a Rickenbacker 4003 (preferably in Jetglo or Mapleglo?! Although not too fussy!) Here's a few pictures just to give you a taster, sorry about quality of the photographs taken with that glorious piece of technology that is the iPhone!:
22.
Bump for an excellent amp,i have been using mine for 2 years,i have markbass, trace, ashdown amps and this one for me is my first choice at the moment.
Bump again! It's a remarkable amp truly a great sounding piece of kit!
23.
Got any pictures? Is this the one with the built in Korg tuner?
The US Models all came with the Rackmounted Korg Dt1000 tuner however the british export models didn't for some reason?! But as you can see there's a space for that very purpose and on the back there's a tuner out jack. You can pick the tuners up very reasonably if it's something that you would want to add on, i've had a single unit rack delay in there and have had a lot of fun with it!
