  1. Thanks Karl :-D Jamie unfortunately I'm looking for a straight sale at this current time but thanks for your offer! P.S. it's an orange Orange cab!
  2. Bought this as part of a sale from Adam Wiseman with the intention of it being a temporary measure until I could afford to buy an OBC210. As I have now managed to secure one of these, and as much as I'd love to have a big rig with a thumping low end, practicality says that currently i'll be unable to transport it all to gigs along with the obc210 unless I have a van. So it has such become somewhat surplus to requirements. Would I keep it under different circumstances? Absolutely it's an amazing cab! So to give you all a heads up the cab is in superb condition, it's been gigged 2 x and rehearsed with 1 x and it's not been abused in the slightest whilst in my charge. http://www.orangeamps.com/products/bass-guitar-speaker-enclosures/obc-series/obc-115-speaker-cab/ So the price?! £250 collected or £275 delivered! It will be well packed in an official orange box and will come complete with a speakon to speakon cable. Pictures to be added when there be that there daylight... A rare commodity at this time of year. Kind Regards Tim
  3. This is a beaut Karl! Such a shame that you're having to part with this! But I can reliably inform you all you can deal with this fine squire of the realm with the utmost confidence!
  4. Karl was an absolute scholar and a gent and really really amazing to deal with. Thanks for the Bob Glaub and thanks for being a great basschatter as well! Good luck with Fenderbird!
  5. Just sold Mark my CV Jazz Bass, have to say an absolute gent to deal with.
  6. Sold to that man over there Ahpook!
  7. I have decided to part with my CV jazz bass in Olympic White with Rosewood Neck. 2 reasons: 1) it's not getting played nearly enough 2) having bought Karlfer's Lakland Bob Glaub I have found I am definitely more of P-Bass neck man these days. As many of you know and will be aware these basses are superbly constructed, play really well and sound pretty convincing. It has 2 issues but nothing that affects playability. 1) there is a chip in the paint by the neck pocket 2) the metal control plate is a little tarnished. Apart from those it's in pretty superb condition. I am not interested in trades unless it's a 60's CV P-Bass in Fiesta Red. Cash price including case, strap and delivery £200 ONO or collection from Chester/North Wales area! Pictures will be posted later when I get near my laptop! Kind Regards Tim
  8. Stingrays still not tickling your fancy trade wise?!
  9. PM'd and welcome to the community!
  10. I would be so all over this if I hadn't bought my Stingray, ADB200 and cab in the last 3 months... Alas. I am approximately 350 notes light for it! Someone should snap this up!
  11. I've got 45's on it at the moment I'll have a tweak and see what I can do and let you know. Will i need to adjust the poles or owt?
  12. Oooo ok I shall give that a whirl in which case.
  13. This is my second stingray and my previous one didn't have this "issue" I understand that the pickup plays a big part in that "stingray" sound. I just like my top end to cut through a bit more than it is currently. With you having lots of Rays Musicman20 how dramatic would the change likely be? Would it be massively different or would it be subtle?
  14. Hi Guys I have recently purchased a stunning 4 String Stingray 3EQ from this here forum, plays like a dream, punching lows, crisp mids but has that infamous lack of the top string cutting through. I have heard a few solutions to this issue and I have decided that the route I want to go down is changing the pickup and see if that makes any difference. So really I am just asking for some of advice, I believe there are 2 main contenders Seymour Duncan and Nordstrand?! (Anyone know of anything else?) What are the pros and cons of ceramic and alnico's? Has anyone got any alternatives?! Cheers Tim
  15. Also now coming to daddy along with the head.
  16. Excellent guy to deal with, real pleasure. Nice to meet you this morning and I hope you get your Mandolins sorted.
  17. Or if anyone has any contact details for Mark could you please send them over.
  18. Bump for a great guy and great bassist. This rig had been well cared for by Ozzie, someone is gonna get a bargain here!
  19. I miss my old 75 reissue... This reminds me of it massively! Good luck with the trade!
