1. On hold pending usual! Btw thanks Karl & Truckstop for your kind words!
2. Bump, price drop & pictures to follow! If you want anything in the meantime just drop me a message!
3. Well as you all know these "super" BB's are fantastic bits of kit! This has many features of it's bigger more expensive brother BB2024x such as angled stringing thru body, 5 piece neck etc. They kick like a mule, loads of tonal combinations and don't look too offensive on the eye either! The play is instantly natural and really comfortable with the neck being somewhere between a jazz and P and the action set low enough for you slappers but with no fret buzz! The bass is overall in superb condition with no marks and will come with a well used but still fully functional Armourdillo Hard case! I would prefer a straight sale as I have my eye on something. So £250 ONO includes case & postage/delivery
4.
Thanks Timmchale2009. Yes, they truly are amazing... but because it's written on them "Yamaha" not "Fender U.S.A." they're not as popular (even though their sound and build quality is far superior to modern Fenders).
Completely agree, my other bass in a Lakland and I wouldn't have a Fender over either.
5. What trades are you interested in doodle?!
6. No worries, thanks for the reply! Terrific basses these, got the. 424x but really want to spec up to this.
7. PIctures now attached type Bump. N.B. Persian Cat is not for sale!
8. Hi Guys Well having not played an electric guitar for over 12 months and now not owning an electric guitar this beaut of an amp is sat doing very little. For those of you looking you'll know how truly amazing these combos are and are fast becoming an industry standard amplifier for guitar. It has the footswitch and the valves IMHO still have a fair bit of distance left in them! There are a couple of nicks and scuffs in the tolex but nothing major and certainly nothing that is aesthetically displeasing. However you're more than welcome to pop to Chez McHale or I will deliver within reason for a small fee. Trades wise Fender/Lakland P or J Basses. If you have any specific requests don't hesitate to ask. Look forward to hearing from you. Tim
9.
Firstly, I actually PM'd you within 30 minutes of you sending me your shipping address details. The quote I gave you was for £60 including full insurance (as requested). Secondly, I didn't receive the response by return you promised me despite checking the PM and seeing that you read it around 6.04pm on the Friday night. As a result, I decided to continue the deal with another Basschat member who had contacted me before your enquiry. I suggest you check my feedback thread at the bottom of my signature. With over 8 pages of what I would describe as impeccable feedback from other members (including a significant number of deals overseas) I think you will find there is absolutely no substance to you theory that I'd rather deal with someone in my own vicinity. I hve nothing further to add but would suggest you get your facts straight before airing dirty laundry in public.
Hear Hear!
10. No Worries Karl, just thought I'd take your thoughts on it. Good luck with the with the sale/trade! Everybody can deal in absolute confidence with Karl, he's bob on!
11. You wouldn't be interested in your old Bob Glaub back would you Karl, you foul temptress?!
12. Yeah that's absolutely fine. I'll speak to you closer to the time sir!
13. Nick have you had chance to read my PM yet mate? No worries if you've had a change of heart :-)
14.
I don't and I still missed it
I know the feeling Karl... gutted.
15. I've got a Fender Bassman Pro 400 and tbh the covering has seen better days. The cats have clawed it, it's been caught moving it in out of the house etc etc etc. So really I want to re-cover it or have it tolexed in purple to make it look a little different. But I have one issue... I haven't got the time to do it myself at the moment and I was wondering if anyone knew of someone is the Chester/North Wales area that does these things and perhaps an idea of cost?
