1. Great buyer/trader. No issues at all, very easy to deal with, great communication. Came up and blew my mind with my new amp and showed me the magic of a GK tiny box of an amp and I sincerely hope you enjoy the Trace. Tim
2. Hi All! It's with much reluctance I am putting my fantastic Trace Elliot AH1200-12 head up for sale/trade. It has been an excellent work horse of an amp and sounds absolutely cracking through my Mark Bass 104HF cab as well. It can literally bring down aircraft over 10 miles away as it's plenty loud and the clarity and tone is just stupendous, but you have the option to blend in the valves to give it that lovely gritty valve tone. The pre-shape function gives you "that" classic Trace sound. It's really easily controllable with the foot switch which comes with it and that controls, the pre-shape, loop, compressor etc. So why am I selling you may hasten to ask? I have recently damaged my rotator cuff and the amp is just a little too heavy for me to move around, but in all fairness it's still portable for that amount of power. So if anyone has got a good & loud/lightweight head that are looking to trade hit me up. Something like a Markbass LM800, Ashdown ABM EVO iii/IV, TC Electronic RH750. 4. Pretty sure I recognise that wall in the background ;-). I don't need to eschew the quality of these basses, this used to be mine and I can assure anyone that this bass is a particularly good one. Deal with confidence.
5. As above I have this pedal for sale that sadly is not getting used anywhere near as much as I would like plus with an imminent incoming Bass Synth will more than less likely be surplus to requirements. I don't have the original box for this unfortunately however I do have a Vortex Flanger box to put it in for shipping purposes. I would like £50 + £5 for postage for the TC Any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks Tim
6. John is a top quality chap, deal with absolute confidence.
7.
I'm tempted myself. I had one the same a few years back. It was a truly great bass...
Well drop me a line if you're interested buddy :-)
8.
Is Karlfer still after a 50's P?
I've popped him a little message
9. Hi All I've got a rather beautiful Maya Fretless P Bass (£325 O.N.O.) The fretless was once property of John aka oldslapper of this here parish! It came to me in fine fettle however I decided I wanted to make it a bit more me. John already had a nice wiring loom installed, KiOgon also of this here parish I believe and I decided to have Matt Bascetta of House of Tone pickups customer wire me a pickup better suited to fretless. I also had Matt set the bass up, file the string channels on the nut down to play a little smoother with heavier flatwound strings, I also had him install all the gold hardware that you can see on it... It's a significant improvement on what was stock on there and I think it suits the era of the bass much better, however I have kept all the original parts, so if you so desire to put it back to how it was, you can. I'm sure John will echo my enthusiasm for just how good this bass really is. As you can see it's a maple boarded fretless neck, finished in a 3 tone sunburst and it's a solid wood body, I'm not sure what the wood is (maybe John can enlighten us?). Of course as this bass is older than me, I believe MIJ late 70's, it's picked up a few dings and scrapes along the way, however nothing that effects playability or overall sound. I have tried to include these in the pictures below. Weight... light... exact weight I haven't got scales and nor do I currently have access to any at present so please bare with me. For the benefit of those who are looking at this on mobile... I am based in Saltney just outside of Chester. I would prefer to transact face to face just to ensure all are happy... However, I am happy to arrange a courier at no additional cost to you! I am always open to negotiate on these things, so please don't hesitate to contact me. Regards Tim
10. Hi All. Mrs Mac has placed rules on my purchasing of guitars, one in, one out. As I've got a Tele Deluxe on the way in, this has to go. This truly is a Gorgeous guitar that sounds as good acoustically as anyone could want and plugged in, just as good it has a Guild under bridge fitted pickup and preamp with tone and volume subtly placed in the sound hole. It has a solid spruce top with lovely solid mahogany for both back and sides, a one piece mahogany neck, bone nut and saddle, mahogany bindings, nice chrome Grovers, sunburst paint job and a flawless gloss finish. For me as far as acoustic guitars go at this price range they don't get much better looking, playing and I am not sure if they are ever better built. It will come with the nice Guild 'tweed' hard case. This is from the earlier, better quality, range and is no longer available as far as I know. In as new condition and hardly played, it has a 43mm nut width and It has just had new strings fitted, Martin bronze 12's. All in all a beautiful quality guitar for very little money. You will love it! I'm based in Saltney which is just outside of Chester. Any questions go ahead and ask or please feel free to make me an offer. Thanks Tim
