It has been an excellent work horse of an amp and sounds absolutely cracking through my Mark Bass 104HF cab as well. It can literally bring down aircraft over 10 miles away as it's plenty loud and the clarity and tone is just stupendous, but you have the option to blend in the valves to give it that lovely gritty valve tone. The pre-shape function gives you "that" classic Trace sound. It's really easily controllable with the foot switch which comes with it and that controls, the pre-shape, loop, compressor etc. So why am I selling you may hasten to ask? I have recently damaged my rotator cuff and the amp is just a little too heavy for me to move around, but in all fairness it's still portable for that amount of power. I've been borrowing one from a mate for the last year for practices in sound rehearsal room. It's heavy compared to the class d type heads around but not too bad taking up and down stairs with handle if you havent any injuries. I like the control panel dimming option for gigs.
