Very low output due to the metals used, sounds sh*te. Having said that, D'addario used to make a copperwound electric bass string in the early 80's that looked & sounded really good, but they didn't sell so they were discontinued

Very much depends on the bass. I've owned basses that never once needed adjusting & others (especially my Jaydee & my Stingray 5) that were so unstable I spent more time adusting them than playing them.

It might say Shergold on the headstock but they ain't Shergolds.

I've got an original Bass Gizmotron, unfortunately the wheels are all snapped off. The rubbery plastic they used to make them out of went really brittle as it aged.

Can't go wrong with Labella, flats or rounds. Great strings.
