..saw them ca couple of times before. This time , half cut . Expected new stuff first .,, Sound was worse than crap. The videos meant nothing, as I haven't got new stuff . They played - song 3 times. Thankfully they played a lt of faves. Trying to workout hiw many songs I mussed. Got thete 3,songs before Johnny the fisherman . My friend went with an open mind and liked them . Could not hear les Vox , Did I enjoy it ?? Not so sure .

What used to annoy me, is guitarists ( in your band) taking forever to sort out capos . Nothing worse than leavin huge gaps between songs. If they had 2 guitars , it probably would've been easier. Gave me a chance to play some tv themes while we were waiting . ( I know I shouldnt ...)

Hats off to the swift! She is everywhere , and I normally ignore her . On this occasion she is spot on. Much as I have lots of apple products , they are penny pinching bar stewards who refuse to acknowledge faulty products etc. and just want to Rip us off at every opportunity.

Back to normal now. Headphones on this morning listening to jarre waiting for Cousteau trac 4 . Amazing how many of you listen to planet Rock . I haven't listened to that for at least2years. I think it needs some sort of rejuvenation . The doors/ led zep etc. have stopped years ago. Maybe someone should tell them . A bit of anthrax / king diamond / Celtic frost etc. played during the day would appeal much more . Radio stations are bottlers really

I think VH are a spent force in the UK. They've been away too,long . They did their USA tour, obviously for cash. If it were serious, they would've at least had a complete, new album with at least 8 new songs- not rehash of oldest,stuff. I saw some footage on you pube , and it looks like they still don't gel ( Eddie/Dave). You can see eddies corner, and daves dance area . Different ends of the stage IMHO Roth v Hagar ? ( again;) I prefer material of DLR. I've seen DLR solo, 4 times ( forget the 4th gig )!. Seen billy Sheehan . Just haven't seen the van halen bros. Hagar stuff with VH doesn't do anything except for 3/4 songs which are good. However , chicken foot rocks big time !! And you Have Michael/Chad/ satch! Seen them twice .cant wait to see them again

Are you doing drop d for Mr. Vocal? If so, van halen, pant era etc. may be the way to go,or even thin lizzy. Normal tuning ; ufo , scorpions . Rivers of Babylon ,is a song I've always wanted to cover

A few months ago, I thought about getting a cheap guitar . Only because , I wanted to record something else instead of bass and apps. Then , I realised what a waste of time it would be . A guitar feels like a Chad valley kids toy in my hands . No feeling .

When I bought an amp off eBay a few years back, the ad said ' not using amp anymore going computer instead.' I was gigging at the time and thought no more about it. A few years( and a couple of amps later), I bought a gk combo incase I join another band. Almost 5 years later, and I havent . I'm wondering whether to offload it, as I have line 6 podfarm and studio monitors . Then again recently , I've been looking at the Roland cube/ micro cubes with built in drum machines / effects etc. I notice that guitarists always have an amp at home to match their axe . Maybe you should get one

I had a bass amp cutting out intermittently ,and the guitarist had to get a replacement before we started. Touch and go, as to,whether the replacement would reach us in Time . Okay, that was hired equipment . As we were quite angry, we managed to do a great version of pretty vacant ,complete with amp,kicking syndrome .
