1.
How did you know I always think that? I've got a box full of them, but then I rarely throw anything away. I'm sure I've read somewhere about an initiative to standardise low-voltage dc connectors so we could have a single 'universal' 'power brick', but I've seen no real sign of them. USB connectors are increasingly used for power but really the whole area is a right old mess. Still, it keeps the PSU manufacturers in business.
You sound like me . Too many wires in my life at the moment, I 've heard about those multi connectoer thingy's, but don't know if they're any good. Cheers
2. You use 'em for mobile phones, shavers, gardening tools , and of course effects pedals. I have loads, which take up way too much space. Do I keep'em or bin most of 'em? You always think 'but I may need them incase '' What do you think ? .."
3.
Could we have prices for the two basses separately, please? Also I have an Ibanez ATK300 up for trade if that interests you.
Thanks for the offer of the Ibanez, but it's not really my thing. I'm more interested to something similar to the above(headless). I'm not really sure of a price for basses seperately ,as I think that if someone was to buy the amp as well, they'd get a bargain. Or we could have a good pedal trade or something open to offers for everything listed.
4. My brother has moved into my flat, and so, with less space than before ,and less patience these days, the above have to go. The basses are C H Guitars brand . My friend Chris's brand. They are in excellent condition ,and have never left the house. Being in a band, and learning mainly 4 string tuning ,I haven't played these much at all. The 8 string is very loud, and powerful. (Too much for the flat to be honest) The 6 string feels good ,and has a lovely blue quilted maple top. The Eden combo has been advertised here before, with no takers, but many pm's.It is in excellent condition , and is fairly portable with a 250 watt output. It has been gigged a few times, and easily copes with 2 guitarists and a loud drummer, with volume to spare. Prices? If you were to buy the 8 string with the combo together, I'd say £420.00 o.n. o. 6 string with the Combo? £380.00 o.n.o Items I'm interested in: Kubicki ex factor, Boss Delay pedal/Flanger/phaser/octaver a headless bass with drop D or headless 5 string. EBS pedals. OR A 5 STRING LES PAUL BASS I may be selling my 5 string Schecter to another basschatter(he wants this, but is prepared to wait for me to get an equivalent) and my Telebass may go also. Let me know what you've got. Collection Central London or Twickenham(south west Londonish)
5. Got 9 basses, but will be offloading some soon due to lack of space,& not using enough. Answer to the question has to be , a Kubicki ex factor,a headless zon, steinberger trans trem.. better stop now
6. if it was for the full bodied steiney,I'd have had it. Don't think you'll have trouble getting rid tho' Good luck with the sale
7. I used to have an old OHM 150 watt head/cab. Loud as f**k It always did the same as your amp,but there wern't any problems with it. Having said that,I did get it serviced once as I used to bash the head about on public transport.
8. Believe it or not, I saw a red one on ebay yonks ago. From Beyers Music in Germany
9. Mr. Drums in my band,is playing Guildfest on Sat July 17 th with his professional band. He 's selling the above,as he may have a few left over. He can also, get tkts for the other days as well. Let me know, if you're interested. Cheers
10. i'd say hunt down a proper steiney, or original status if you have funds
11. nice,,,,,,, you'll certainly be noticed when playing live.
12.
I saw them supporting Motley Crue of all bands way back on the Crue's Theatre Of Pain tour at Hammy. Great gig!! That was the night (Valentine's Day) that Nikki went out straight after the gig, scored some brown, OD'ed and was pronounced clinically dead in hospital. Clever lad!
me too. Saw them a few times in london. Thought the Albert Hall was a mistake tho' , the atmosphere was lost there. Funny band tho'- great live ,but I just think they're too wimpy on record.
13. pants! Seriously, that's a lovely bass. Vester''s are cool
