  1. These have had great reviews - didn't I read somewhere that Nathan East now uses just this rig? Anyway, GLWTS.
  2. So sorry to hear this. I hope things take a turn for the better. Good luck!
  3. Reverend's designs are just smashing it these days - I love the look of the Triad too. GLWTS - someone's going to get a great shortie with this.
  4. Nice job! For once, a headless bass which looks like a bass. GLWTS
  5. Great work, @briansbrew You rescued a real gem! GLWTS
  6. What, if you don't mind me asking, is that rack case? I have an ABM Evo II and I need to protect it. GLWTS
  7. That's a helluva rig!
  8. Was just looking at a Bass Rig Rundown on YouTube with Nick Jost, the bassist with Baroness, and he was using what I'm pretty sure is the exact same head - he was very impressed and, I have to say, so was I with his tone. The video is here:
  9. Tokai was at one time consistently outperforming the USA-built Fenders it imitated. Have you any idea of the age of this beauty? GLWTS, by the way. Someone's getting a bargain here.
  10. Absolute bargain. Are you up for trades?
  11. I know the feeling - don't worry, semi-hollow is an intellectually sustainable state; but it will pass!
  12. Have you ever seen Cheltenham? 🤣
  13. i do like these - if I had the spare dosh, I'd be all over it, but I don't just now (new bloody glasses - old age is a terrible thing!). Good luck with the sale - your buyer won't be disappointed.
  14. I bought an Ashdown "stool" 110 cab (with a nice comfy cushion on top for home practice) from Tim at an excellent price. I really enjoyed our various discussions on messaging - Tim's a right laugh - and the cab arrived beautifully packed and really promptly. I would recommend him highly as a BCer both for his selling and for his conversational skills! Thanks, mate!
  15. Absolute bargain. I'd have been in if it weren't for the headstock - I just prefer the old Aria Pros with the very simple symmetrical headstock. GLWTS anyway, it's a great price.
  16. That's very cool - thank you for the explanation!
  17. Sorry - my bad, I'm sure, but what does this mean?
  18. These are real players' basses - really easy to play, oomphy tone, Gretsch legacy/vibe - and not just to look good on a wall. Sorry to hear about the osteoarthritis, I know from experience how uncomfortable that can be, but someone will get a great bass at a really good price, as a result. GLWTS.
  19. Can we see it?
  20. Love it, but currently over-supplied with amps. Well-deserved bump anyway.
