They appear to be a 3rd party jobby - nothing specific about instrument insurance. Parcelforce appear in there, and their t&cs say instruments not covered. Was there a firm Basschat recommended before? My search skills are lacking.

Hello, I’m in need of sending a bass, but the usual firms I use don’t cover musical instruments. Any recommendations please?

£150 from santa. How should I upgrade my bass?

What does it lack? Is the next pickup weak? Does it need shielding? Nice little wiring harness upgrade maybe? -
Bought a rather nice Tobias Toby Pro from Andy - bass is great, packaging was bombproof, delivery swift. Can anyone ask for more?!

This'll depress all you vintage Fender anoraks....

I reckon the drum kit is brown, btw. I think it’s mahogany “duroplastic”. -

Why is there a whole page of trying to guess the colour when we’ve already been given the answer?! -

Lake placid blue, or Olympic White. Or black. I like black.

Want to keep playing, but got kids and food to sort!

Does this work? - P Bass Pickguard quandary

I think black would be too harsh. Tort looks much better fitted 👍 -

Minty white or gold anodized might work, too? -

Amen to that! And the food! -
Stunning shiny photogenic Mustang CV bass in Olympic white, with both mint white and tort scratchplates. Bought from @jezzaboyof this parish just three months ago. Looks great, plays great, feels great, IS great! Wife-friendly - the only one that was allowed in the sitting room! Alas, it’s just not for me. I really need something with 24 frets and access to them. A previous keeper had put holes in for a thumb rest, so the tort guard has holes too. Can’t see them at all with the (massively visually superior) minty guard. There is a small imperfection in the finish on the lower waist edge (pictured) but I guess that’s why it’s £250!! UK postage included.

Parting out my lovely bitsa. Big shame as it played beautifully. But something new and shiny caught my eye, you know the way it goes. The “PeaTurgh” transfer is not sealed in, so will come off easily enough (Rothcoe & Frost water slide thingy). Or you can leave it on just in case I make something of myself and you can sell it to pay for a Ferrari in 20yrs time? Beautifully figured maple, gloss finish, amber vintage tint. Rosewood fretboard. Off-white binding. Brand unknown, which is a shame, as I really want an all-maple version eventually! Standard P specs - for 34” scale instrument, 42mm nut, 63mm (maybe a hair over) at the heel. A bit of finish and wood got stuck to the body around the top screw holes where it bolts to the body - shown in pictures. An unfortunate cosmetic-only occurrence (also completely invisible when attached to a body). Let me know if you want any other measurements. Postage included.
