Surely it’s the Rabbit Hutch?! Thank you @scrumpymike and the Scrumpettes for another great day out. Got to try some lovely basses, ate some lovely food, chatted to some lovely people! I just tried the Trace head through the tiny blue cab to see how knackered it was, but all I got was immense Trace sound through an impossibly small speaker! To all the people I told that my son had knackered the micro cab, I was wrong! Doh!

Nearly there - just need to find some bolts to hold the amp in. Got feet on the side opposite the handle so it can stand on end, too. This B&Q plywood is shit, though - not using that again! -
Had one in Olympic white, but sold it for something else. Was close to buying the same one back, but some boring real life stuff robbed me of my fun budget. Will get one again soon!

The 42mm nut width would be the USP for me on the Alnus. -

Quick mock up waiting for the paint to dry on the other side. Ooh, this gunna look niiiicce!!!! -
If you like the Vester more than your Ibanez, it’s a good trade. Doesn’t matter what is or where it was made!

I really hope I can make it. It sounds like it’s going to be so much fun!

Undercoat on. Looks like an X-Box. -
I thought about bringing cans last time. If I can make it I’ll bring my little Behringer P1 and equally cheapie in-ears to see if I can hear what I play! This year (if I can make it) I’m hoping to find someone with TI flats to see what all the fuss is about. (Restrung everything with Labella LTFs after last time!)

That would be the normal route. On a previous cab build, I used emulsion, then sealed it with some ronseal stuff - still looks good two years later! Currently favoring military green. -

Corrrr blimey I’m slow. Got a bit bored of the boxes, so left them for a bit. Got message from a prospective new band for a jam in 2 weeks time - suddenly wanted to finish these cabs again! Took a sander to the edges to get rid of the router burns and excess filler. This is when I found out the nice top ply is less than paper thin 🤦🏻♂️ So back to solid colours…. I’m thinking something light like only white or a muted surf green. -
Bring your rubber car mats in to chuck over cables?

I agree 100% with @Schnozzalee’s statement!

Not sure if these have been mentioned yet, and I’m assuming you’ll have a marmite reaction… https://lindoguitars.com/product/lindo-kawa-short-scale-electric-bass-travel-guitar/

I put this little amp module kit together and stuffed it in a wooden box I had lying around. Made it look nice, and it works, but the buzzing is off-putting. I know not what I’ve done, I have no training or skills, just daft ideas and the occasional 10 minutes spare! What would cause buzzing in an amp like this? Bad soldering? Lack of shielding? (powered from a 9v pedal supply).

This thing is messed up, but I’ll use it anyway! The top driver works, bottom driver has taken a knock sounds like the coil is out of alignment - scratchy noises on excursion. Took the back off - carcass is particle board, and damaged around the top speaker, which also has a torn cone! Despite this, it doesn’t sound too bad with a bass going through it! Plan of action: wire up top speaker only, leave bottom speaker in situ and use as-is for an unusual but decent sounding music room guitar cab. Still no info whatsoever on Google. Anyone even heard of the brand before?

You’re all approaching this from the wrong side - fill in the bit on the pedalboard “p”! You’re welcome 🤣

I flippin’ love walnut on a bass 😍

Just picked up a 2x12 from a nice chap on Freecycle. He owned it for 50 years. Guessing It’s not for bass, but the square-back magnets made me think of Ampeg B15s! Googling yields no results. Will pop the back off to see if there’s any information on the drivers, but anyone know anything about these cabs?
