  1. I bought the single tom from him - well happy with the seller. Curse you, agreement-made-for-the-sake-of-marital-bliss!!
  2. I know! I’ve got alerts on and checking it fanatically! It’s a beaut - mahogany shells, new heads, the works. Unfortunately I’ve had to agree to not buy anything else until the studio is finished 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
  3. I liked it before, but that balances it so well. Hats off to you, Sir!
  4. @Baxlin - that is such a great photo! I want to know more about the band now!
  5. That’s a stunner of a kit!
  6. Bought a 70’s Olympic steel snare. Really hoping it’s the chromed brass version (eBay seller wasn’t a drummer). That would be awesome, as I paid under £40 for it 🤞🏻
  7. I bought a One10, then another one because it was tweed and looked cool. Only sold them because of money issues. Bought a Two10 when I had cash. I liked the modularity of two One10s, and they made a cute micro stack! Cant see me buying another cab out of need, will probably buy another cab just because I like them and my own personal expression of our consumerist conditioning (egged on by Basschat).
  8. I’ve wanted one of these kits for a few years, but funds never allowed when I saw them crop up. Going to try to obtain a whole kit in instalments 🤣 So far I have snagged a high tom, got my eye on a snare. Anyone got a floor tom or kick drum in this finish?! Or even a whole kit?
  9. Found it - you’ve been busy!! Love the track names too 👌🏻
  10. Saw Kid Carpet perform in a pub in Brizzle yonks ago - what a star!!! He had an MPC and a toy guitar! Also bought an SK5 in a boot sale for about £5 in 2010 ish. Stupidly sold it a few months later (along with an MT68 I bought for £3 in a charity shop) but sold it for 5 times what I bought it for, so there we go. Didnt know there was an app version of the SK5 though - off to check that out...
  11. I really like the grain in the neck. If it doesn’t weigh a ton and the neck is playable, pop in a Ki0gon loom & Tonerider pups, sorted!
  12. I reckon they wrapped the body in gaffa tape to protect the finish. Oh, wait....
  13. What about just adding a powered USB hub? I use a Scarlett 2i2 with an iPhone. Popping the Scarlett in to the powered USB, then from there in to my phone. Might work?
  14. I had a B120 head in the 90’s but found it lacking. Unfortunately my young uneducated self didn’t understand the weak link was the Crate cab it was paired with.
  15. Isn’t that just a map of the underground?
  16. Danelectro of some description, methinks.
  17. Happy birthday!
  18. Up switches the hot tub bubbles on, down releases the hounds.
  19. Maybe just ask Ki0gon for a loom with long pot shafts? So much easier than chewing the wood out. I’d also be worried about long-term strength if thinning down the wood to mount pots.
  20. Maybe it’s an electric roof.
  21. Not me, but they are £110/£143/£170 on Thomann. I really liked the look of the 1000w ones on silver that looked like old hifi they were shifting when this thread started.
  22. Fill the voids with hawthorn! Old school!
  23. That sounds like a good way forward. At least I’ll have it ready to mod properly when a spare block of time arises! Re: The house combo - still no ports fitted! 🤦🏻 Another one of those things on the to do list!!!
