1.
I've a 6-string fretless, 5-string fretted and a 4- string fretted. I've never bothered about details such as scale length, spacing etc. I just play them. I may be odd, but I find it easy to adjust to the instrument, rather than try to find any particular set-up. There are extremes, of course, but millimetres are not a concern of mine. When playing other people's instruments, it's the same. I adapt. It's rare that I find anything unplayable. Sorry if this doesn't help much.
It does , and I agree. You should be able to play most instruments within reason

 5. I just started doing open mic nights and tbh I wouldn't lend my bass unless it was being used right in front of me. It's nice and I don't want it screwed up. I always take a spare even if it's only acoustic
 6. No - don't really hate it. My daughter writes her own songs and sings them. Proper ones with verses and so on. she's only five and I celebrate the talent

 9.
Sorry mate but that's wrong about the kbd and the marble mouse and wrist rests.
I have had tendinitis and also thumb and wrist problems. I use a laptop all day and given a wrist rest and marble mouse they go away totally, so no, it isn't wrong
 10.
All correct fella's - I''m using a laptop ALL my working day (with current employers for almost 12 months). Went to the Doctors yesterday. Honestly speaking - I've been ignoring / managing the symptoms for at least a couple of years. As a male - going to the Doctors is an achievement - I really had to convince him that I've been living with this for a couple of years and self managing the symptoms, it's not that I woke up earlier this week thinking "my wrists are a bit sore". I've ordered a separate keyboard to be able to sit in a more neutral position.
Seper ate kbd won't necessarily help - what you need is a wrist rest, a marble mouse, and properly oriented desk and chair.

 12.
I've noticed quite a few positive posts on this forum about Peavey basses. Not played one myself but from general opinion on here they seem to sound pretty decent!
I've got one and they are quality. Grinds are good

 18.
I would. When it comes to British cars of the 60s my rose coloured glasses are firmly put away in a drawer.
I've had one - it was a money pit
 19. 21. Perfectly adequate with a nice feel of solidity
 22. They save money by not supplying the hard case and not rolling the edges of the fingerboard. I think the plates are a bit cheaper too but it's nothing major in terms of difference.
 23.
I've heard quite a few stories about Squire from various people over the years; not one of them has been positive.
Yes are playing venues like westcliffe on sea pavilion nowadays aren't they ? Hmmm
