Total Watts

1. Tried a Sigma BMC 15E in local shop. Had a little mark so reduced to £275. But I didnt like a click the strings made against the frets.
2. There's a good small independent guitar shop here. http://www.hounddogmusic.co.uk/ I think I'll get one from him. Then I'l know its set up right etc
3. Thanks for all the tips so far. I use a Laney 15W amp and the swift sounds pretty good, just the tuning is terrible .I saw reviews for the gear for music acoustic bass saying its good for the price; but can you believe the reviews? Reviews for Harley Bentons dont seem too good. The Sigmas seem to be £350+ What are Crafters like?
4. I use a Laney RB1 15W amp (sometimes if the place is very small, just use a little closed back practice guitar amp). The Swift bass I have sounds ok thru amp; but its seriously bad action and intonation. So I'm after something a bit better.
5. I wasn't thinking about spending that much. I just play at sing-arounds or open mic type things
6. I want to buy an acoustic bass, not too expensive. I have a Swift, but its really bad. Any advice. What about the Gear For Music bass?
