2. Who is making the cabinets? That is serious cash for a 2x10.
3.
It's on their web site!!!

United Kingdom Contact Bergantino Audio for direct sales 00 1 512 873 8043 eMail: "]Bergantino Audio Direct Sales

Isn't that just the USA factory direct?
4.
Manufactured in the UK too apparently, so hopefully reasonably priced over here. I wonder if they have collaborated with Barefaced or someone else we are familiar with...
Hmmm!
5. I wonder why it has gone this way? It must be very expensive to import one or two products as a consumer now?
6. That is strange; never expected BD to stop stocking Bergantino.
7. I had an all Orange rig. It sounded stunning but it was FAR too heavy, more so the cabinets. The AD200b is a nice simple powerful tube amp. Warm, with a lot of bite if you want it. Personally, I think tubes are much more of a 6 string guitar necessity. Whilst they always sound great, I think they are more crucial to a guitar sound. A good quality solid state bass amp of say 500W with a high end gain pedal and you will get so close with a lot more headroom. Unless I toured with a band properly again, I wouldn't opt for a full tube amp for bass. I do however think the Orange solid state amps are worth your time. If they still made it, I would suggest the Bass Terror!
8. Oh that makes sense, so the higher range without any low end is going to the Katana? Can't see why that won't work!
9. Sire 5 string, or save and get a second hand USA Musicman.
10.
Bought one new last year and it was a thing of beauty... Had a gripe with the nut being a bit shoddy but Ernie ball sent me 2 new sets of strings of my choice to compensate. About 3 months into ownership there were some gnarly intermittent issues with pick up phase, sent away for repair 2 times and returned unrepaired every time. They kept just re securing the pick up instead of swapping it out. In the end I got a refund and switched to a sandberg California II vt4 which is a totally different thing, but I was a bit soured on EBMM after that.
That really isn't acceptable. Sorry to hear that. If you are in the UK, the dealer should have made everything good for you, no matter what it took.
11. Are you running the full range of the bass through it?!
12. Sterling H, all years, can switch series/parallel/single coil on a ceramic magnet pickup. The HH and HS models are ALL series mode. Unless things have changed or I've made a mistake!
13. It's quite a step forward in technology, but there comes a point when you think, do I NEED something to be this small and light....
14. Yeah they will struggle to sell those cabs at that price.
15. Made in the UK?!! Maybe working with a manufacturer we all know?
16. Yeah the new Rics are just INSANELY expensive. I won't be buying new unless I see offers from now on.
17. I own both amps, and they are tonally quite different.
18.
So to order, HH with matching headstock is £2,250 and six months wait time!! There's a nice starry night on eBay in the US that would come in significantly under that, even with duty etc......
WHATTT!?! The wait time I understand; the guitar side of MM has rocketed recently. I hate to make the situation worse but I paid around £900 less than that for a Sterling 5 HS in tobacco burst/with rosewood board, and it was only a few years back.
19. £75 on some websites.
20. Orange. Sparkly.
21.
The price for the cabs is a complete joke. The 'relaunch of the relaunch' of Trace Elliot by Peavey has left me completely underwhelmed: a single head, two expensive minature cabs and two oversized pre amp pedals.
Boom! Exactly. You wonder how these people get jobs.
22. Basically a tweaked and upgraded LM3, which should have been done years ago!
23. The 2x8 is craaaaazy money!

25.
All a bit sad given that it's clearly a very nice bass, though seriously over-priced.
This is mainly due to the plummeting £. They shot up in price. Another example - Musicman St Vincent guitar was £1799-1899.... Now....£2229 +
