    I think maybe they look a wee bit like a toy, or beginner bass. At least at first glance. The headstock is too large, to my mind, and works against the overall effect.

    I love the look and sound of these, but baulk at the specified nut width. Would someone be able to explain the significance of why the actual measurement differs from the published specs? Thank you.

    I’d never put Windolene on my hair. for wood, though, I use naphtha (lighter fuel. I think it is less lofty than white spirits. Apply sparingly.
