    Just bought Ian's wonderfully light weight 95 Musicman Stingray....Met in the usual motorway services to do the deal.... Anyway, couldn't wish to meet a nicer guy.. highly recommended, deal with confidence 👍

    Really quite scary how ahead of the pack Peavey were with this bass combo, i had the earlier combo 130 which was basically the same amp.....pre and post gain, ddt limiter, parametric mid, black widow speaker.....remember, this was 40 plus years ago!!......Shame Peavey aren't the same anymore.

    The 55-02 for me, is the most comfortable 35 inch scale 5, but as you mentioned you will be very lucky to find one 9lbs or under.....how about the new Cort/ Elrick 5...it would tick a lot of boxes for me.

    Nice cab!.....this was the cheaper version of the cab called " BIG FOOT ".....that cab had bag end 12s and a le-son tweeter.....were it me, and it isn't, i would install eminence deltalite....I know you should model the cab, but i think these would suit a broad range of cab sizes etc

    Pot 4 is mid cut and boost plus passive tone I do believe.

    Listening to the clips on YouTube I feel I prefer the TT rather than the TM.... even with the humbucker in single coil mode, it doesn't quite get lovely tone of the TT 4, near, but no cigar!

    Had one of the trace smx dual compressor pedals....really good but didn't use it much because i am lazy....sold mine, but they do pop up now and again.

    The other part of the speaker is know as a whizzer cone and will slightly boost the treble.
