    Luck of the draw really, I managed to find a 95 stingray that weighs 8.6lbs...they do exist if you look hard enough lol.

    I have a 2003 stingray 5 and the neck needs to be adjusted quite often...just learned to live with it.

    The Bart mk1 humbucker shape pickups are in fact reverse P design and very good they are too...apparently little is gained by upgrading to the usa bart pickups....Corts are good basses! I would try and get the A5.

    Up for sale is my lovely Jazz Deluxe 4 (2015)....Bass has had little use and as such, is in fantastic condition...two piece nicely figured ash body...weighs in at 4.3 kgs and balances well...recent nyxl 45-100 strings.....sounds and plays really well....complete with case and case candy, again in excellent condition....Thanks for looking.

    Laurence Cottle used one for a good while and always sounded epic, to my ears, better than the GB bass.

    I have an Eich T900 simple but effective eq a fair bit of welly and small and light weight....nice amp

    Knowing how well Yamaha basses set-up and the quality preamp and pickups it must be a helluva bass
