It's a bass i have owned from new and will go to my death bed ..... will leave as is and just keep the old pots.......cheers guys

I had to replace the pots on my 79 stingray, I still have the original and wondered if they could be rebuilt to keep the bass as original as possible?

Had a dragonfly jazz 5 and it was superb!....tone feel and build

I used a genzbenz neox 212 cab...fabulous cab!!...built in wheels and only 47lbs in weight...unfortunately not that easy to find now...I only sold it to go to separate 12s for a more modular setup.

After following with interest the Basschat 112 Bass cab build thread, watching Stephen's journey to production, and reading many positive reviews I decided to pull the trigger and order the LFS Monaco cab. After a few gigs I have to say I am certainly not disappointed! The cab has a nice shape/form factor ie not too small and not too big, I am also very impressed with the build quality, and knowing the cab is fully braced and built of quality plywood and quality components fills me with confidence regarding the roadworthiness. Describing the cabinet, tone-wise: muscular, full-bodied tone (unlike some other cabinets where the bottom end has little definition and impact and the tweeters are artificial and spitty) good transition from 12 to the compression driver loud for the size of box handles power well as mentioned by others, the mid range is great, even with the cabinet on the floor Size, form factor: the quality top handle along with taller, shallower dimensions makes accessing/exiting venues a breeze smaller stages no longer a problem amps sit on top of the cabinet without issue fits perfectly in a small car (bonus!!) weight/size to output ratio is awesome Stephen is a true gentleman to deal with, who goes above and beyond with his customer service and I would not hesitate to recommend him to other bassists!! In all, this is a fantastic, well-designed cab which performs better than any other cab I have owned.

I stand corrected!....bassplayer magazine tested the Reidmar 750 and stated it was fitted with the ice module....they must have changed to something different for the 752.

Strange to think, this amp I believe uses the same ice 700 power module as the aguilar ag700 and the gentler magellen and yet this only developed 280 Watts at 8 ohms, whereas the others are 350-400 Watts at 8 ohms....please explain?

Met Jon at the railway station in Darlington, I gave him an envelope containing £Xs and he gave me a lovely Sandberg TT4....very happy with said purchase and Jon is absolute top chap....highly recommended bass chatter.

I have just ordered a set of toneriders for my jazz...Will let you know what I think when fitted.

Tend to agree!.....also, the new Chinese line, fantastic though they are have diluted some of the kudos in owning the more expensive lines.

Had the 605!....Great bass, and it would set up with a super low action.

Love that yamaha, and the colour....sizzle to the touch!!
