  1. This is what I consider to be a genuine reaction video, Robert Plant was clearly moved by this stunning performance by Heart.
  2. I think I possibly recognised 1% of all the acts listed from that huge extensive list. There is only one act I would really like to see performing, that’s Crowded House.
  3. Totally agree, a very painful listening experience. I was enjoying the Duran Duran performance until that woman came on and started rapping halfway through one track.
  4. Diana Ross is definitely miming 😳 Who told her to dress up as a Giant Panda. 😀
  5. This might help.
  6. Stealer, Free tribute at Elme Hall Blues Club. Jeff Rich ex Status Quo on the drums. The video sound quality is not great, it was recorded by someone employed by the venue.
  7. Love Sculpture AKA Dave Edmunds
  8. This was a biggie.
  9. I didn’t realise Living In A Box, that band from the 80’s had reformed.😀
  10. Definitely, every band I have ever played in has been my type of music. I’m a weekend warrior and just play as a hobby, I would have zero interest in joining a band that played music I didn’t like. I totally understand musicians who rely on gigging for a living doing it, as they need the money coming in.
  11. A big fat NO from me.
  12. Sky Arts tonight Saturday 21st May at 11.30pm. The Doobie Brothers - Let the Music Play. The story of the band from its beginnings in 1970. Update - It’s now showing as starting one hour later at 12.30am.
  13. I was really into all of the following in the 80’s, managed to see them all live in concerts. Simply Red INXS Go West The Christians Terence Trent D’Arby
  14. Sky Arts tonight/morning. 1.45 am Beth Hart live at the Royal Albert Hall.
  15. Paul Rodgers - Muddy Waters Blues Album. A raft of guest guitarists, top players and superb tracks.
  16. In answer to the posters question. When the utilities bill drops through the letterbox.
  17. Early 70’s , NME and Melody Maker, listening to John Peel. My best mates brothers were 5 and 10 years older, we got to listen to a lot of Fleetwood Mac, Chicken Shack and John Mayalls Bluesbreakers. My first album purchase was Jeff Beck - Truth.
  18. Wednesday April 27th - Sky Arts 11.40 pm Muscle Shoals - docu/film about the famous recording studio.
  19. It’s a very thin Policeman.
  20. Gig in a Classic Rock covers band, used to do a minimum of 20 paid gigs a year, this year it’s dire, first gig of this year is not until the middle of May !! We have 6 gigs booked so far this year, can’t see us getting many more, half the live band venues around this way are just not putting on live music, lack of footfall and won’t pay for bands. Most of the bands around here are still going despite the onslaught of Covid over the past couple of years, I would have thought several might have called it a day but not the case, we now have a dire situation where we have the same amount of bands looking to gig at 50% of the venues there used to be.☹️
