    I saw this last December in the shop and was intrigued. Is it a bit more purplier than the photo suggests? Lovely bass, glad it survived the floods! Wonder if the Shergold that was hanging up next to it did too?

    Just traded my Gretsch bass with Julian in return for his lovely Limelight Jazz. He traveled a good distance to meet me en route to a holiday, which was very accommodating. Really nice bloke, great to deal with. Recommended!

It is in very good condition and comes with a soft ROKSAK bag. At the moment, I would prefer pick up from DN14 – just off J37 M62 – due to lack of a hard case, but could consider delivery/meet up.     Last night was probably our last gig for a while in our current incarnation as one of our singers is about to take herself off travelling for up to a year. It was in a pub next to York racecourse on race day, so judging by the punters walking past, some alcohol may have been taken . We were a bit nervous and our tech for the night had some teething problems, but once we got going, we had a hoot. All a bit emotional and end of an era feeling - we're all buddies. We do have another singer (another buddy) lined up as a dep for a few months.

    Another vote for Hatful of Hollow. Great songs, brilliantly played. Words are clever and funny, but I think Mozza needed Marr as an antedote or foil.
