With some reluctance...oh pull yourself together man. I'm selling my Yamaha BB425X in black. It is in good condition with a few surface marks which are quite hard to pick up. It's a great bass, with a really great neck, the classic P/J pickup combo and Yamaha build quality. I'm only selling as I've decided that my bass playing future lies with 4 strings. Weight is a tad under 5kg or 10.9 lbs per my luggage scales. It has just been serviced, though you might want to change strings to suit your tastes - currently rounds. I'd rather not post this but collection would be welcome and would also be open to a mutually convenient pickup location I now have the necessary to post this! Thanks for looking!.

Liking the Jackson Pollock does Dawn of the Dead suit there Rik!

With the V and T knobs ( I assume) and the pickup selector, I think there's a bit of Yamaha in there too. Unless they're stacked knobs.

I like the offset look of the Jaguar/Talman and with those Ric type pups and stacked knobs...this is going to look very cool! Subscribed (belatedly)!

That all sounds pretty painful, but hopefully the medics can sort it!👍 -
Never used flats before putting Labellas on my Roadworn P. They are lovely👍

We advertise some jobs as internal only when say, there are several good internal candidates. Having told people that career development is available, saves peeing your staff off. We've got about 4,000 employees.

Think they do a blonde one - @discreet may be along shortly...

Just bought this and listened to it properly for the first time. I t makes me very happy...can't say better than that! -

While the shape is, on the face of it more conventional than the reverse, I imagine you still get that "5th fret is two inches to the left of where I thought it would be" feeling after a BB (if my BACH derived version is anything to go by)?

Nice work, well done to your son👍!

Now that is very nice! They don't seem to be that common either, especially in that nick.

Andy drove up to Yorkshire from the Deep South to buy my Thunderbird. Lovely bloke, had a nice natter about all things musical and bass and I'm glad the Tbird has gone to a good home. Deal with confidence folks!

Some "asset restructuring" going on at Howdenspur Towers...I have for sale a Gibson Thunderbird in Vintage Sunburst and dating from 2010. Bought this from DaytonaRik of this very parish and it's a beaut. It is in generally good condition, it has a couple of chips in the finish around the mid strap button and where the wings meet the neck with a several other lesser dings which I've tried to capture in the photos. Nothing serious, just cosmetic. It weighs a mere 3.9kg or 8.6lbs and comes with the original plush hard case. No neck dive here I'm pleased to say! I'd prefer not to post this, but happy to have buyer collect (with the lure of drinks, biscuits and maybe even cake) or can meet up somewhere convenient. I live just off J37 of the M62 and work in York. Thanks for looking!

I feel your pain, I'm about to go into letting go mode. Well, that's the plan...

Used to have one of these - very lovely! In addition to all those volume knobs, you've got the pickup selector too of course.

Bought a nice Fender combo from Mark. Comms were very good and he was obviously very interested in making sure that it arrived with me in tip top order. Unfortunately, despite being well packaged, the gain pot got damaged in transit and Mark was gutted by this turn of events. I managed to get it sorted locally to me and it now sounds fab, looks great and with a very smart faux leather cover to boot. I'm very pleased with it and you should buy from Mark with confidence!👍👍👍 Thanks Mark!
