1.
I guess this isn't strictly the right place to post this query, however knowing how helpful the BC community can be... I've got a Grey Stache and the main on/off (latching) switch has packed in (so replacing it will be a bit of DIY project), I was wondering if some kind soul may post a link to the type of switch I need to order/replace it with? Thanks in advance!
I'm guessing, but I would imagine it a standard 3PDT footswitch: http://www.doctortweek.co.uk/shop/article_21/Foot-Switch-3PDT-(Genuine-Tiawan-Blue%2C-Red-Epoxy).html?sessid=43ylgcb3Un3BsvdnYOGqeTJezXXsJkhweNqhTrR7Aq0GZkA9ScnKjISxDdS1cMU6&shop_param=cid%3D1%26aid%3D21%26 If you post a photo we can confirm.
2. I had a go on one of these yesturday and was really impressed. Totally different to your usual Fender, a great range of sounds and a nice neck. Sorry to hear about the car GLWTS.
3. Woah! - thats pretty amazing
4. Hey, just turn the bottom plate over, screw it back down and stick your vecro to the fresh metal side. No need to take the rubber off and you can revese it later. Handy hint number 12!
5. Oh and I do have an original CS Bass Fuzz to compare. With the exception of the volume issue the sound was virtually identical.
6.
I tend to go for the path of least resistance (if you'll pardon the pun) and browse tagboard sites, particularly this one: http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.co.uk I'd particularly recommend the Coloursound Bass Fuzz layout. doctortweek.co.uk carries a good range of quality components - especially JFET and germanium trannies (for lovely tube-y tones) at very reasonable prices. Hope this helps.
I built the bass fuzz from the above layout and found it a little quiet. Adding a simple booster circuit solved the problem. Just my two peneth.
7. Just acquired a Boss BCB-6 from a mate. Unfortunately its minus the Boss patch cables. They have a smaller elbow than your normal patch cable - even a George L's is too big! I know the new EBS patch cables may fit, but they haven't gone on general sale here yet. Can anyone recommend a slim cable that I can use or where to get original Boss patch cables? Thanks as always Noir
8. The POD X3 Live has a dedicated Aux in.
9. Mmmmmm, Brimstone - Dribble
10. Oh yes, I just got one: ZB08032, Jan 1990 - Interestingly has a Jap PCB but made in Tiawan
11. Here you go - (you need to change the file extension from .ipd to .pdf):
12.
That's an interesting little pedal case. Stagg?
Looks like one of the Mooer Firefly M5 cases to me.
13. I've got one that came with my Ged. I prefer the white so I be happy to part with it. PM me if you're interested.
14. For £70 you might as well get a Sonic Port. If it doesn't work out for you sell it to the next keen reader of this thread.
15. Sept '84. Very nice GLWTS.
16. The range here is so good I might just order a load and swallow the import charges!? http://www.pedalpartsplus.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=PPP&Category_Code=ENCCC
17. Anyone know where to get ready painted enclosures here in the uk?

21. Derek Smalls tastic!
22. +1 on the PN-2
23. Electro Harmonix Bass Microsynth would probably get you close.
24.
So those are still to purchase then ??
if you tap the basket icon at the bottom left of the Jamup screen you can then choose from the three icons at the bottom of the screen. Once you've tapped one of them (amp models, effect models, bundle) you'll see on the right which you have and have not installed in blue / grey.
25. @ TonyBP Only the effects and amps you have purchased will appear at the top of the screen. If you tap one of the effects or amps you get a dialog box labelled 'choose' tap that and you can change effects or amps. There are a couple of compressors in the software an LA2 emulation and a boss CS-2. Good luck!
