    POG2

TBH it's been a while since I had it on my board, but from memory the lp filter is quite subtle. The Q control acts more as a tone shaper than the q control on a standard envelope filter. The OC2 will certainly take care of keeping things nice and fat.

    POG2

I have a POG2 and used to have a Microsynth - the old 24v version. For me the POG is a different animal, The octave effects in the POG whilst tracking well are digital and much thinner than the MS's octaves. The beauty of the MS is its analog-ness. I personally like a rich analoge octave down for synth things. Just my opinion, that may be what you are after? I would strongly suggest you try both! they both have their pros and cons.
  3. Bump for price drop.
  4. Obviously I don't know the band you speak of, but in my experience its usually the venue that decide how long and at what times you play. It seems a common misconception that the band have any say in this whatsoever. We're often asked for several encores, but can't because the venue has a strict timings and curfew for the live music. So we always end the last set early and play a couple of encores to keep the punters happy. Also we often say to the audience that 'We'll be back in a minute' so as to keep as many people drinking and in the venue as possible. Depending on venue the breaks can be anything from 10 minutes to an hour. Chances are the venue asked the band to finish just before closing time and that the band were waiting to go on to maximise the bars takings, after all thats (in the eyes of the landlord) what they are there for!
  5. I can only agree with the previous posts in that I have had a very positive experience dealing with Si. I've picked up from him what I can only describe as the best P bass I've ever played - a totally stock '68. Just wish I'd had more time, so I could chat more and check out your collection. Thanks again Si

  10. I sold my big box one on here for £90. i really miss it now although the bypass was awful!
  11. The fault sound very minor. Why don't you try taking it in to your local shop? I bet they could fix it in 5 minutes for very little money. Nice bass by the way! Good luck with the sale.
  12. Bump - cheap in ear solution. 2 inputs so would work for sending drummer click, or your bass plus full mix.
  13. Bump, would trade for Ashdown MAG 2x10 deep.
  14. All sold, Cheers!
