    👍
  2. All makes sense to me😁
  3. I was looking for PA speakers late last year as one of our 12" units blew. Eventually settled on some Auditorium III from Studiospares. These are 415w RMS with split bass and treble amps and enclosed in a wooden cabinet. Not had a chance to really test them yet but they sounded great at low level and take a bass guitar really well. A slight negative is that they are heavier than units with plastic enclosures. Cost at the time £179 each.
  4. My pre-production RM500 turned up Friday🙂

I think you can get at least one more hole in there, just to finish it off😁
  6. Welcome Bassimmo from another midlander. I am sure we can cure of your reluctance to GAS😂
  7. Just drop me a message when you are ready.
  8. How about looking at the Ashdown range of practice amps, something like the AAA-30 EVO, Studio 8 or stretch to the Studio 10 or 12.
  9. I believe so Silvia.
  10. I would be prepared to do this for you Jakester but, it would depend upon the complexity. Could you send me the instructions for the mod? and I'll let you know if it is within my ability😁
  11. Nice review. I have been using Newtone strings for a few years and find them reliable, value for money with great service. For an even more worn in sound you can go for the round core option (which is what I go for).

A very nice looking bass Lozz and a good choice going for that scratch plate colourway .
  13. Just cover your window panes with tape walshy, as they did during WW2, and you'll be fine😂
  14. Nice that basskit_case.
  15. Nice one walshy.
  16. Mark has also found some 'old' stock amps as well and I just (accidently😁)pressed the button on a pre-production RM500. Ooops.
  17. Impressive resume there yorks5stringer. being a bit of a hi-fi nut in the past I know the speaker companies you worked for and saw/read a complimentary review of the Air-Pulse's some years back.
  18. The guy in the video above puts his videos on YouTube under BassBuzz. I have been using some of his lessons on there recently and found them useful.
  19. Smoot Hound here, good piece of kit and made in the UK to boot.
  20. If you have no problem with the wait then Wenge all the way.
  21. Re above comment from BigRedX , If you talk to Neil at Newtone he may make you a bespoke A D G C set.
  22. With regard to learning you could try the Scott Devine and Scott Whitley videos on YouTube. Maybe even sign up to Scott Devine's Bass Academy 14 day trial.
  23. If they don't arrive soon pepsi-abi let me know and as my earlier post I will send you a cable and strap.
  24. Not a bad freebie there.
