  1. You had me at "Battles"
  2. I'd be interested in this if you do decide on a cash sale.
  3. Beaut. This is the EXACT bass I am looking for. If you ever decide to move it on then consider it sold..
  4. I am very interested to hear how you get on with this.
  5. I should just add that I've never noticed any latency but I dont think I play the sort of music that would highlight latency.
  6. I've always thought of the LS2 as one of the most underestimated pedals on the market. I've had mine for years and love to experiment with its use. I mostly play ambient soundscape type stuff these days with loads of reverb and delay. For a while a owned the EQD Organizer but it had one hell of a loud click when dis/engaging it which would obviously send a loud clunk sound through a super long delay signal. Hardly ideal. So I originally got the LS2 to simply quiet switch that effect off and on. Another primarily use is to have a B3K in the loop so as to maintain a completely clean and untouched bass sound with a second drive sound on the top as lowish volume. Huge fan of the LS2.
  7. This has been, without doubt, the most interesting build I have seen on these pages. The bass is a genuine beaut and the ambition is just incredible. I have loved reading and watching this thread come to life. I would love to do something myself but unfortunately the 1984 Fenders just arent my cup of tea at all. Great work...

  9. Yeah that was my understanding too.
  10. Out of interest, how do you measure the output of the pickup?
  11. Perhaps a bit of a long shot this but I was just wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to get some knobs similar to those found on the old EHX LPB-2ube (among others)? Thanks
  12. What board are you using here? The dimensions look ideal for my needs.

    Bass soul food

I have been on the hunt for a second hand BSF for a while now. I haven't seen on pop up in the classifieds for a ages though sadly.
  15. So it turns out that the J blades are slightly larger than the pickup cavity already routed into the body. Its not the end of the world but a bit beyond what I can be bothered to attempt or pay to get done right now. Gutted. That is not a concern for me. All my basses are work horses, not design pieces. But thanks for the insight.
