1. This evening, been playing along to and attempting to learn Breaking Down the Walls of Heartache,
2. Nice wheels John
3. Nice 69 there Chris, lovely.
4. I continue to be impressed every day when I play one of the P basses I put together. Don't think I can claim that it's down to any particular skill on my behalf but more, just good components all going together in a pleasing fashion.
5. Do yourselves a favour and let us know where you are located.
6. Hi Biscuit, you would probably be better off over in the affiliates forum, along with some info as to where you are located.
7. My useless memory Karl, just visited your feedback page, only to find I commented on it at the time
8.
The only other thing about it that narks me is con artist members changing their name to get rid of the bad feedback they have had (you know who you are pal ).
That is a worry, didn't occur to me that any of that had gone on here.
9. Recommended, dealing with Jamon was a pleasure, good communications and paid when he said he would. One of the good guys.
10. Ta, very useful.
11. I've had plenty of OBBM's leads, as has my band, not a problem with any of them. Quality kit, good prices and rapid delivery.
12. Learning these three for this weeks rehearsal. Mama told me not to come, Tom Jones/Stereophonics version. Beggin' You. Franki Valli & the Four Seasons. Mr Rock and Roll, Amy Macdonald.
13. Money well spent Jimmy. After years of faffing about with various cheapies and foam ones my wife treated me to a decent set for my birthday. Use them every gig/rehearsal and they are extremely good.
14. Hi Frosty, from another Bass Chatter of the same vintage
15. Not been involved in these sort of events but feel for you, that is a crappy way to carry on.
16. Delicious looking grain in that Chris. Hope you enjoy
17. Think I'll stick with fine oil and continue to nick my good wifes cotton wool buddies. Much cheaper.
18. happy for you
19. I like coffee, I like bass so it sounds like a fine idea. Not so sure about traveling in to London at the moment. I;ll check in nearer the time and see where abouts it's happening.
20. Got to be Wal for me
21. That looks real good Tim. Love it.
22. Been a bit of a bass fest for you in recent times Nick. Another very handsome instrument
23.
Why?
exactly.
24.
Thanks Gary. Do you have any suggestions for pup replacement please? cheers Mike
Conan has answered that one very well. For me Seymour Duncan quarter pounders.
25. Don't think the CV necessarily needs any upgrades but if you like tinkering then a change of pups can make a big difference.
