  1. Beautiful! Health to enjoy!
  2. Bit of a trek from Norn Iron, or I'd definitely have this...
  3. That looks interesting!
  4. Other than the weight (obviously variable) and the extra pickup and preamp I wouldn't use myself, I'd heartily recommend Sire basses. The couple of J basses I've owned/played have been outstanding.
  5. If you're OCD about colours then... Can't really help you with that... Although the Octave Multiplexer would fit.
  6. I quite liked the Octave Multiplexer I had although it's certainly a different flavour than the OC2. The TC Nether seems like a nice cheap OC2 clone if that's what you're after. My personal fav cheapo octave is the Chord OC-50, which is OC2 based but with a drive option.
  7. Amazed Lady Gaga gets away with the unedited Poker Face on the radio...
  8. Not sure, but retried install earlier and it worked!
  9. Bought a preamp from Nick. Faultless transaction from start to finish! Wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.
  10. Health to enjoy Si! Looks lovely!
  11. @Kev with all that space why have the polytune sideways? Genuine question, never used one!
  12. True bypass, top mounted jacks, omitting/deleting controls that usually remain fixed, adding expression functionality, going to a smaller enclosure, adding a blend, clipping mods... I could go on... I don't think the OP was specifically targeting Boss btw although the OC2 is the most rehoused pedal I've seen, usually (as previously mentioned) to delete the -2 octave control.
  13. I think the answer is - it depends. On your skills mainly. I'll be honest and say if you have to ask the question you shouldn't be attempting it yourself... But if you're interested in giving it a go, start with building some basic pedals yourself to get a feel for things before you attempt rehousing something made by somebody else, which is typically more difficult that building from scratch yourself. Have a look at pedalparts.co.uk for a start. Also look at the DIY pedal thread here.
  14. The tuning hardware seems to be the same as the cheap Chinese Strandberg knockoffs...
  15. That looks awesome!
  16. Reduced to less than half its original price. Still overpriced!
  17. Looks all very efficient except... Departure Scan, Koeln, Germany at 4.30am (3.30am UK time). Arrival Scan, Stansted, UK at 3.39am... Regardless of the fishy scanning times it's a pretty impressive performance!

It seems to have been designed to fit in the battery compartment of AMT's line of preamp pedals - there are instructions in the datasheet of how to fit it in their LA2 series preamps. Didn't spot the current consumption figures. It's high, but wouldn't put me off I have to say!

Another cab sim option... And it's TINY! https://amt-sales.com/cabsim/amt-pangaea-cp16a/
  20. Welcome from Ballymena @pintspiller
  21. That seems a little stupid on Warwick's part.
  22. Would they not supply you a new neck for that price if you sent them the old neck? Seems a bit odd...
  23. Looks lush! Got any full frontal pics of the whole bass?
  24. Dave's Ibanez 6 sounds OUTSTANDING!!!
  25. Love these little amps. Wish I was closer!
