1. Tee hee!
Ah common sense prevails! I just read your comment to my wife (I love Zapa too) and she asked me if I wrote it!
2. I misread initially and thought Vangelis was coming to Manchester.... doh. Enjoy the gig, good luck.
3. For heaven's sake.... Yes, Beatles were great and I like a lot of what they put out, but letsnot forget they in turn were influenced by Indian music, Elvis, Chuck Berry etc who in turn were influenced before. Ultimately there is always something that comes before. For me if you like them, great, if not, great.... Taste is subjective and always will be. I love Zappa, my wife thinks it's the ugliest pile of sh&t she has ever heard. I am still quite fond of her.
4.
That Blueberry is a frigging bargain and won't hang around for long!
It is, best low gain overdrive I know of and a firm fixture on my board. GLWTS.
5.
Someone buy this! Same age as mine and in amazing condition. Welcome to BC Mellow, hope you stick around
Ha ha, Ped's got GAS Lovely late '80s Passion!
6. Nice, can't go wrong with some carbon fibre
7. Nice bass, which I have seen and heard several times on the box. Glorious wooden tone. GLWTS!
8. Great quality Mono strap, in very good condition. Price Includes shipping.
9. Up for grabs is my Gramma v1. 23"x15" of acoustic isolation. Only used in our studio, so as new and comes including the original box. Looking for £40 shipped within Western Europe (and yes that still includes the UK).
10. Great basses, if I didn't already have 3 others I'd have this in a heart beat.
11. That....... is.........by.......far .........the............ugliest............thing........I..........have.......seen.......in........ages.
12. I've just watched the video that was posted. Pretty much spot on review. Very nice.
13. Jeff also said that a 5 string was useless, until a 5 string Cort came out. I played a 4, very good bass for the money. The pickups and placement make it sound a little honkier when back pickup is soloed, a little darker when front soloed. I would certainly say this can exist alongside another Jazz, an added "flavour" to the classic JB sound.
14. Who's this Rick you keep going on about? Loud, rowdy, punk a little dirty.... Rick Mayall?
15. Not sure if people realise just how good these are, incredibly warm fuzz that is perfect for your classic fuzz tones or combined with an octaver and envelope a great analogue synth tone. Only reason I sold mine was I needed the real estate.
16. Wow, that's a lot of bass for 1200 quid,
17. If you buy these, you are mad........ Mad I tell you.
