1. Two of my favourite artists from the 80s. Always the mark of a good song when it is stripped down to basics like that and still sounds just as good.
2. I'm sure you will be able to find somewhere you can challenge this. I had this same thing with a track I wrote, played and recorded myself, so no copyright for anyone. I have also had it on other videos I've posted and challenged the claim. Within seconds I have had an email saying the claim has been withdrawn. I think it is YouTube's cheeky way of putting ads in front of videos in the hope that most will not challenge it. Try the challenge and see what happens.
3.
Man this is so damn nice! It's similar to what I do but this is more melodic. Amazing what the bass is capable of!
Thank you. Most kind. Have you come across Ambient Online. Specifically about ambient music. Lots of influence and inspiration. http://www.ambientonline.org/forum/forum.php
4.
I actually use the echo effect on my pedal to create atmosphere too in between quiet sections; string scratches, harmonics, swells etc. Works really well and I rarely see any one else doing it. If this is the type of stuff you mean I'd be interested to here!
If you click on the youtube link below you can hear how I use the effects.
5. I use reverb all the time. Mind you I don't play bass in the conventional way. TC Hall of Fame and Strymon Big Sky along with all sorts of other effects. Makes some wonderful sounds but not everyone will get what I do.

NBD - ACG
Welcome to the ACG family.
Alain is the ACG family. He buys half Mr. Cringean's stock. Lucky man.
7. What's your planned selling price?
8. I bought Paul's Boss PS-6 which arrived safely today. Very qick and problem free deal. Packaging was second to none. Pedal is in immaculate condition. Deal with confidence.
9. More and more effects processors have usb connections these days. Simply plug them in and off you go.
10. Thanks for the reply. There are no amps involved in my setup. It's really the CC changes I'm interested in. They start and stop the looper. How does your Midi Mouse work with them?
11. I am currently using the Loop Tree app as a looper on iPad. It works really well and I'm very happy with it. I use a Behringer FCB1010 to control it. That works well too but takes up so much space. Has anyone had any experience of using any of the smaller midi switch pedals on the market to control apps such as loopers? What works best?
12. I have used Stringers in the past. They deal with all types of acoustic stringed instruments and know what they are talking about. In York Place. http://www.stringersmusic.com/
13.
There is also mentions of FREEBIES
What? You mean plectrums?
14. My Status Series 3 seems to have stemmed my flow of gas. But then, the plumber is coming round to fix the pipes so the gas can flow freely again. :-D
15. I was about to ask when and what time it was on. DOH! TV doesn't work that way these days.

Ebow.

Excellent job. Love the way the notes come in and out. Great atmosphere.
17. Thanks. I prefer the Ebow on flats, it's a bit harsh on roundwounds.
18. Good to see you posting music here again. Nice piece but could be a bit louder. Good piece to immerse yourself in.
19. A bass guitar that doesn't sound like one. Using a pick on a fretless bass. Any other rules to break? Some more ambience this time on an Overwater fretless with an Ebow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cD_4sKc46cw
