Do bass strings have a best before date? I found 5 packs of Ernie Ball Super Slinkies languishing at the bottom of a cupboard that I completely forgot about. They must be 5 years old at least, but the packets are sealed. I may get round to using them at some stage, but otherwise I will bin them if they are perishable.

How many shows follow the same format? Buy something cheap from an auction and try and sell it back to an auction at a profit. Go and look at different properties for sale and buy/not buy one. Find some old junk, do it up and sell it for a profit. ZZzzz!! 😴

First bass was a short scale Satellite I bought from a second hand shop in Hanwell, London in 1982. It was terrible. I gave up on it and sold it back to the shop. That was followed by a Westone thunder 1 from a mates mums' Little-woods catalogue. Number 3 was one of the first Squiers. A 1984 JV 57 Precision in salmon pink. I later had it resprayed . (My avatar picture) First amp was also a Carlsboro Cobra. I was always skint and unemployed in the 80's. My mate bought it for me and I had to pay him back weekly.
