It's going to be white. The orignal neck has a maple finger board.

Somewhere around the £80-100 range I expect. Drop him a line though and see what he says. I don't know what The status pickup sells for.

I thought a custom would be much pricier - interesting.

Status pickups...I don't know. If it were my choice, I'd be talking to someone like Aaron Armstrong about a custom build.
How would that be, price-wise, compared with the Status ?

To be honest, whatever product I buy with supplied screws and plugs, I bin them and use good quality items as the ones supplied by the manufacturers are usually guff. Glad to hear the bass is mostly ok as that could have been an expensive one.

Plus the one on both points.
Bin them and get some Fischer plugs - they piss on anything else I've used. Piss on them and laugh whilst they do it.
You do realise that the punishment on BC for even mentioning sharing or landing kit is to have you and all your immediate family burned to the ground ?
Someone will be along soon to tell you the story about the time they loaned their bass amp to a visiting double bass player from France and she set fire to it, beat up an old lady with the still-smouldering carcass and then framed the owner for an armed robbery in Frankfurt in 1976.

Flea managed to play it with fingers and from the view on the big screens he was playing every note himself!
I saw them do that too, very impressive.
For those of us who aren't Flea.....
You need to start with the BPM, then you can work backwards from there. a quick straw poll of the web seems to say ~126.
Knowing this you can work out the delay time, it'll be 1/8th notes...I think (for a bass player I'm useless at note lengths !)
There's some good advice here on how to do this
