1. just on a status-related note, i was in the studio on saturday and had my t-bass running through my ampeg and it sounded amazing. "a manly bass sound" was the producer's comment.
 2. i'm a recent convert to the warwick club...and i love them - great ergonomics and they cut through like nobody's business.
 3. plus the bump. if i had the dosh at the moment i'd have this off you in an instant, great basses.
 4. big muffs sound great at home, but when with a band they tend not to cut through. i don't like them that much for bass. i use a wounded paw battering ram in my stonerish rock band...sounds amazing, but i did have to get if from over the pond.
 5. interested in swapsises on the masdotron for my blowtorch with some dosh your way ? it's been used a bit, and is missing one of the battery covers, but i have the orignal psu.
 6.
Ableton seems to score highly for using in live performance for sequencing, but I found it a pretty alien way of thinking.
the live looping/performance side of it is very confusing, but the people who i know who use it for multi-tracking seem to love it. but yes, it's a weird old package
 7. i use nuendo...but only because i used cubase for years and it's a similar animal. i'd like to get into ableton, but it means a lot of learning and no playing.
 8.
Great song, absolutely love it. Maybe wrong, but when I`ve played it, I had it as, for the chorus: F, E, A(high) A(low) B, B, C, C, D, D
pretty much the same as me - with octave skipping on the run up - B B octave C C octave etc. and stick a few flourishes on the way home. and plus the on one a great song.
Can probably track down the owner of copyright from the copyright info in it and ask them.
the book's still in print, so if i were the copyright holder and you asked me, i'd say no - and expect you to buy a copy... i'm just saying it's not the sort of thing that should be offered on forums...the copyright holder could take action.
 19.
Why, how and when did bass become synonymous with hats?
it's not round my way... but then i have plenty of hair
