just on a status-related note, i was in the studio on saturday and had my t-bass running through my ampeg and it sounded amazing. "a manly bass sound" was the producer's comment.

i'm a recent convert to the warwick club...and i love them - great ergonomics and they cut through like nobody's business.

big muffs sound great at home, but when with a band they tend not to cut through. i don't like them that much for bass. i use a wounded paw battering ram in my stonerish rock band...sounds amazing, but i did have to get if from over the pond.

i use nuendo...but only because i used cubase for years and it's a similar animal. i'd like to get into ableton, but it means a lot of learning and no playing.
