1.
And finally, here's the pic!! Doesn't really do it justice - at least the picture doesn't show where I've been licking it.....hmmmmm
It looks very lickable to me. Nice.
 2. Happy Birthday Marcus, have a drink on me. BTW, can you lend me a tenner?
 3.
Trust someone who knows all about this after 35 years of fitting replacement bridges to Fenders (mostly Badass) The best option is to go for the Gotoh 201. Does everything the badass will do; direct replacement for Fender/Squier stock bridge, and sounds every bit as good as much more expensive models.
This. I also think that it looks nicer than a Badass but that's just my opinion.
 4.
- I didn't like anything he played there! odd way to play. Maybe on his planet it makes sense
Fixed again.
 5. Fugly. what was he thinking.
 6.
Here's a demo of the bass by Ryan Martinie. Not the best sound quality and he starts the demo by doing his octave tap technique which doesn't sound right for any bass demo.
Fixed.
 7.
Actually, don't bother answering, me and my 18 inches will go somewhere else.
You are a tripod and I claim my £5. Welcome to the mad house FG.
 8. Have a bump on me. Quasimoto No Longer a Newbie
 9.
... but the future lasts a long time.
Not denying that, that's why I said "near" future. I can't see things changing much in the next 10 years when the Cowells of this world have such a strangle hold on the music industry.
 10. Simon Cowell etc have turned music into a bland throwaway cash cow. The labels are unwilling to spend money on bands that don't give an instant return in sales and are quick to delete anyone trying to be different if they don't generate these sales. The general public wouldn't know innovation if it bit them on the bum, they are used to being spoon feed crap. I can't see things changing in the near future.
 11.
Weren't they the ones who might have caught chlamydia off of a koala bear?
It would have been more news worthy if it had been the other way round.
 12. I've played the Half Moon a number of times over the years in different bands and the sound has always been a bit iffy. It's a hard place to get a good sound but it can be done. Depends on the sound guy on the night. As Happy jack says, it's the shape of the place that makes it boomy.
 13.
Er, can you sell something for more than twice what it's worth?
If you find the right idiot to buy it.
 14. I think you have written Peter Green off a bit too early, he's still alive.
 15. The Yes Album and Wishbone Ash - first 4 albums. Chris Squire and Martin Turner inspired me.
 16.
Not me. But I know a drummer who doesn't mind a bit having being replaced milliseconds before a huge '80s singles band broke, but really, really minds his one-time musical partner taking their co-invented stage double act and turning it into a multi-million pound internationally franchised show, without giving him a penny in recognition, ever. Harsh business…
Ant and Dec?
 17. Just been watching the "Love Me Do" doc on BBC4. Pete Best comes over really well, not bitter ( in public anyway ). Anyone here been dropped and then your band went on to better things? Bitter and twisted or not?
 18.
Really? So the whole thing wasn't a figment of my imagination? 1975, I think - but where?
Queen's Hall Dunoon, West of Scotland. You played there, we supported, my band was called Hands Off,Your next gig was at Glasgow Uni and my you got my band in for free. Cheers for that.
 19. I had the pleasure of supporting Jet at the start of their first tour '74 or '75 IIRC. Good band.
 20. I have always messed about on guitar but wished I had given it more attention when I was younger.
