2.
Having trawled the TB thread to save anyone else the trouble of so doing, I may confidently report the following: * Many respondents seem to espouse the neutral 'pointless question / apples and oranges / so what?' thing. * Others rate Mr Beauford as a drummer with superior all-round technique while acknowledging Mr Bonham's legendary thunderousness. Zero controversy, lamentable lack of 'Go USA', etc. Pretty much as one might expect were such an anodyne thread to originate here on BC, except that the TB-ers are familiar with Mr Beauford and his work with The Dave Matthews Band (who he?), whereas most BC-ers are not. 'Zepheads' may sleep soundly tonight. No-one in their right mind would give a f**k. .
This.
 3.
if they were any good Rog & Riley wouldn't have flogged them off.
Wrong. The guys that put them up for sale would know that the history of them would bump the price up. They will likely get a cut of the sale price. The feel of them might not be right for you or me but their ownership makes them special.
 4.
He's a technically brilliant drummer whose artistic achievements pale into insignificance compared to those of John Bonham .
And this.
 5.
One more of many reasons to prefer BC to TC; BC leaves TC in the shade. Any other dumb stuff, whilst we're here..? Beau Brummel v Scarlet Pimpernel..? Boadicea v Maggie Thatcher..? Dinky v Corgi..? No offence, but some questions just beg a certain response. Sorry, Leroy.
This is why I miss the like button.
 6. I peaked too early once, she never went out with me again.
 7. Not sure if I want to see you "package", just want to listen to the tracks.
 8. Get the tracks up asap, I love to hear new stuff from Basschatters. There's so much talent on this site.
 9. Jeff Healey used to play Squier Strats, his manager told him they were Fender Custom Shop tho'.
 10. Love it. Want to hear more. Can I have my house back now? Good luck with the tour.
 11. Nice one Clarky, I listened to this at work on my laptop and can't stop humming it. Sounds even better on the headphones at home. Good singers and a quality track. Good luck with Album, I want to hear more.
 12. That's bloody lovely. Go on Fran, get one. You have to spend all that money you've saved on fags on something. You know it make sense.
 13.
They look fantastic, but I imagine neck dive will be an issue with the basses.
They have a wooden core, I imagine this would help to offset any neck dive.
 14. A company is starting to use 3D printing to make guitars and basses. The designs are a bit meh to me, rehashing Gibson Les Paul's but they can be made to your own spec as to hardware etc. It's an interesting concept and I'm sure we will see more of this in the future. The prices are in line with other top end builders, 3500 NZ dollars or around £1925. There's the link. http://www.odd.org.nz/guitars.html What's your views guys.

 16.
SAM!! You can't do sh*t like that! But seriously, I can't believe how kind that is of you!! Thanks so much, I hope the music resonates with you. Thank you x
No worries Nigel, just home from work. Glass of red and headphone time now. BTW, Kit's spelt your name wrong on the bandcamp page.
 17. Just bought the CD, bunged a tenner in to help with expenses. Looking forward to hearing the download when I get home from work.
 18.
Was just wondering if anyone else here has ever bought a bass that looked a lot better than it was easy to play. Of course, this is all down to personal opinion, but I've always thought Thunderbirds looked cool as f***. I had one for about a year or so, and did not really enjoy playing on it at all. Found it quite neck-heavy, with a slightly wider neck than was comfortable. Been a Fender man for a good few years now, but will always have a soft spot for the T-Bird shape. I can mind seeing a Supersuckers video where the singer/bassist had a Les Paul-style bass, wonder what that was like to riff on...
I feel your pain re: Thunderbirds. 19. Funny that their web site don't give this information. A bit lazy of them. http://www.espguitars.co.uk/bass-ltd-b155dx.html
 20.
some company for your bass My red XM2
That is lovely. I missed out a chance of 1 of these a few years back. Still regret it.
