  1. Effectively brand new (used twice at rehearsal) Barefaced One10 and Barefaced cover. Black Metal Grille version. Original shipping box and all paperwork. I have 2 of these for sale. Consider trades involving Bergantino CN112, Vanderkley EXT112, Vanderkley 210MNT, Ampeg PF-112, Barefaced SuperMidget, Barefaced SuperCompact
  2. Roger Sadowsky mentioned GuitarGuitar on Facebook.
  3. The two outputs of the amp are simply wired in parallel. Unless you are using bellwire cables it is quite sufficient to use just a single cable between the amp and the cab. Adding a second cable will serve no useful purpose.
  4. As far as I am aware valves can't be fixed except in a very specialised facility. He is basically selling rubbish and some poorr gullible soul will be taken in to the tune of £135.
  5. I had a look to see if it could be reported but Ebay don't have any reporting categories that cover this.
  6. Totally bonkers. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-FAULTY-MESA-Amplifier-Tubes-Valve-KT-77-GEC-Audio-Vacuum-Sound-Quality/362213436308?hash=item54559a6b94:g:neQAAOSwdSRZ~3jI
  7. I've had Sadowsky Black Label Flats on my PJ for a couple of years now but took them off last week and put the original set of Blue Label rounds back on. Yesterday they came off again and the flats went back ready for last night's Jam. They sounded great the through the house band's rig, an old Peavey head and a Trace 4x10. They are staying on now, so yes I'm addicted. I also recently fitted a set of Labella 076 1954 Vintage flats to my '73 Precision but not had a chance to try them through a decent rig yet. That pleasure awaits.
  8. What and how many connectors do your cabs have?
  9. Tobie advertised that he wanted an EHX Battalion pedal and as I had one that I wished to move on I contacted him. A few PMs later and money had changed hands and it was on its way to him. Very smooth transaction. Top man.
  10. If you get it Gareth can I come and have a listen please?
  11. Where in Cornwall are you?
  12. According to their web site those speakers in the photo are 490mm wide so I think it's wider than 362mm. Shame.
  13. Musicman Stingray 5 with Status neck and side LEDs. - £1200 This was my everyday go to bass however as I no longer gig seriously, and therefore have no need of a 5-string. I have reluctantly decided that it must go as it just sits at home in its case and rarely gets played. The core instrument is a 2003 Pacific Blue Burst Stingray 5, serial number E36***, which was fitted with a Carbon Fibre neck by Rob Green at Status in early 2005. The neck has subtle blue side LEDs and a separate battery box is fitted to power them. Pick-up is a Nordstrand 3-coil with 3-way switching. The original MM pick-up is also included. Pre-amp is the regular Stingray 5. Schaller Strap-locks. Complete with a Hiscox case. Weight is 10lb 4oz. Collection or meet preferred. Do not want to ship. Would consider trades for 4-string basses e.g. Fender P or PJ with Jazz neck, Spector NS Doug Wimbush or NS with DW neck, original USA Musicman Sterling but no Jazzes.
  14. Those of us born in the 40s are completely stuffed.
  15. Nice to see that he measures length the same way that I do.
  16. I had one of the earlier ones, probably over 10 years ago. It was a lot heavier than my current 1973 Precision, Sadowsky Metro HPJ or Nate Mendell Precision. I must say that it sound good with the Lindy Fralin pick-up. The neck was superb but then again so is the HPJ and the Nate.
  17. How about a Lindy Fralin Precision/Jazz Split Coil Bass Pickups Set.
  18. Thanks for the heads-up. I've just saved £41 on a couple of pedals.
  19. Great colour. Same as mine with a Status neck. GLWTS.
  20. I used to use my back-up amp, a GK MB200, to power the floor monitors. It worked a treat.
  21. Hi Stew, great to see you back. Good luck with NYE.
  22. Just 5 for me. 3 with the Dale Fontaine and the TCC Band and 2 deps. Who knows what next year will bring.
  23. Coming up to 72 and I still gig occasionally although the aftereffects of an operation mean, for the moment, that I can't stand for long periods so I have a nice tall stool with a buttkicker attached so I can sit at the back and still feel the bass. Lightweight gear these days.
  24. The Sadowsky Metro HPJ is well worth a look. I've had mine (below) for several years now and it's my go to bass. Superb build quality and lovely neck. They don't come up for sale very often but there happens to be one with a rosewood fingerboard for sale in Guildford at the moment on Ebay. It's almost brand new. I had a look at it when I went to check out something else he was selling. BTW I have no connection with the seller.
