As well as the PF-115 and the PF-210 there is also the PF-112HLF which looks rather interesting and not too expensive at the moment.

I briefly owned a 2x10 Portaflex cab. I found it bulky and heavy. Didn't like the sound either but that's a very personal thing. I think there are some much better and lighter cabs on the market which will give you better results.

I'm looking to replace my bulky Boss TU-2 tuner pedal with a new compact pedal. So far I've identified the Mooer Baby Tuner and the Korg Pitch Black PB-Mini. Are there any others and which is the most reliable/accurate?

Use an NLF4 wired 1+/2+ at the amp end and NLF2 wired 1+/1- at the cab end. You can get NLF4 Speakons with coloured shells so pick a colour that makes it obvious that it's different and also label that end of the cable.

I used to run an Epifani UL310 (5.33-ohms) on a QSC PLX-1600 which was fine bridged at 4-ohms.

It is possible to take apart and rebuild CT dual pots. You need to get a dual 250K/500K and the matching singles of the required values, strip them all down remembering what goes where and rebuild very carefully.

Are they 1/4-inch solid shaft or splined?

What type of knobs are you needing? Photos of the old ones?

I would suggest that they are 2 for each earpiece. You'd need to check with a meter to find out which is which. Then you'd have to check which is hot and which is cold so the two earpieces are in phase - probably a matter of trial and error. When you've worked that out you can solder on a new plug. The other way is to send them to me and I'll see what I can do.

Having tried many different strings over the years I am currently using Sadowsky Blue Labels. They have great tone and medium tension. However in that everlasting search for the ultimate tone I'm always interested to try something new. Maybe NYXL strings will take me to that tone nirvana. I will only know if I try them.
