They are a very dated bass. I get that people have memories of 80s bands playing Wals but to younger generations they are entirely antiquated. See also - Status

Jerry Harvey Audio files for bankruptcy protection: https://www.lsionline.com/jerry-hall-audio-files-for-chapter-11 Not sure exactly what this means but surely can't be good. Anyone want to buy a set of Roxannes that are moulded to the shape of my ear?

Incredible. I'm feeling inspired now! Thanks for sharing.

Fascinating. Schecter valued at 6k sold for 415k!

As much as I am inclined to agree with you, EBMM don't really have much to do with the manufacturing of this bass bar licensing the design.

Fender American II Pro Bass with bottomed out saddles - easy fix?
acidbass replied to daws0n's topic in Bass Guitars
This whole debacle is very disappointing. A shim is really just to supplement a poor manufactured instrument. I'd have expected better from Fender's flagship line to be honest. I hope you find a solution -
The Joe Dart III - New Joe Dart Musicman Signature Bass
acidbass replied to greentext's topic in General Discussion
I'm always surprised how EBMM get the pickup to string alignment so consistently wrong. Another G string lost in the mix -
Anyone in your band ask about your influences?
acidbass replied to oldslapper's topic in General Discussion
We talk about influences regularly in our band. I often get asked too when I'm depping etc. It's always the same list so I just rhyme it off! -

Mixing IEM's - share your knowledge/experience here please
acidbass replied to JPJ's topic in PA set up and use
Yeah this is what we do in my rock band. Allen and Heath desks have specific monitor-only apps (Qu You, SQ You) which allow each member to access only their mix. Very intuitive and saves a lot of faff. -
How many songs for the next rehearsal is realistic?
acidbass replied to Jamesemt's topic in General Discussion
It depends on the calibre of musicians but I would say 3 or 4 per rehearsal is plenty. -
Mr Brightside is a bona fide classic now but when a band plays Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga or Shut Up and Dance I find these artists/tracks have not aged as well and you can see it in the crowd's reaction. A bit dated.

I quite like the Rotosound RB45 as a budget nickel roundwound. They feel good, nice tension and very reasonable at around £18 a set.

I store mine so that the cables are at the top when the case is being carried. Just doesn't make sense to me to have a full pedalboard weighing down on top of the jacks - surely would increase risk of failure.

Possible cures: - Fitting with a Kiogon loom (if allergic to passive - try a John East pre) - Try 'wearing' TI flats - High quality bitsa - Needs to be sub-8lbs
