    Thanks. That was pretty much what we wound up doing: make sure the DGCF songs were in a single block. Singer would blether about a song briefly, that would be long enough.

    I've tried similar things with a four-string. How do you organise your setlist? Are you retuning between songs? I wound up taking two basses to gigs (EADG and DGCF).

    The buyer converted it to headless. To be fair, I did know that he wanted it for a project.

    I had a Yamaha BBN5. Cheap as chips. played nicely, could have done with a pup upgrade but was quite adequate. I regret selling that, especially given what happened to it.

    I have a bass which I keep trying to sell and keeps coming back to me... I should just break it for bits, I suppose. At least then it would be out of the rack.

    We're clearing my mum's house, and there is a wheelchair ramp from the kitchen into the garage. It's quite long, substantial, purpose-made by a professional, and screwed to the floor. If anyone wants it, let me know. You would have to collect.

    Mine was an Ibanez GSR-180. I sold it, but I can't remember who to. Probably my then-colleague Kev, who died a couple of years ago (before Covid).
