Is it possible to run an amp without connecting to a speaker, or will that damage the amp? I want to run the amp with the line out to the desk.

This is a great book, full of useful info on setup etc. Even gives gauges of strimmer cable for use on slap bass!

5 string players - what gauge strings do you use?

I use 38,58,78,98,128. Overwater Its there light gauge set. I use a 35inch scale bass (Overwater) -
