It's a popular opinion It seems that at one point I had more money than sense. That's a self-correcting condition, for most of us...

It's been up for ages. I stopped looking at eBay ads last spring (furlough, having changed jobs in February... not my brightest ever move), and it had been up for a year at least by then. It does look nice, that was one of the reasons I stopped looking Edit: Looking at it again, it's a very similar ad to the original but not the same - the original didn't give you the option of the logo. The photos are the same. So I assume it's a factory outlet. I'm tempted. But I already have too many basses...

I'd much rather spend it on the art than the guitar, even if I didn't like the art. At the end of the day, the artist is working by hand, but Fender are applying a factory finish. So if I had to choose...

Ugly to the point that it can only be some sort of "design statement". It would need a serious, serious advantage to offset that "statement" before I'd even consider it.

Surely the original calculation should take account of the changes in interest rates over the time since it was bought? (I know, I'm not entertaining. Story of my life.)
