  8. morning All I placed a SD3 quarter pounder in my precision infinity yesterday and they really were a tight squeeze through the pickguard. Now when I adjust the screws there are no movement in the pickups which means they are quite low and have hardly any output. is there an easy way to rectify this without paying a luthier to mess with the pickguard. thanks all
  9. planet waves do loads of nice thick padded straps
  10. I have a hartke lh500 which has the usual 3 nobs bass, teble, mids and I use a Ibanez sr500 which has the same active pre-amp nobs. so in essence I have 2 eqs. As MrDavethe bass said you can change eq mid song if needed. it took me a while to fathom that out
  11. Not just that, it's the badass bridge, the Duncan's the lovely fat maple neck. Yummy

  13. ive been in ciu/wmc for years. always made me grimace when people used to turn away from the band and try to shout over them. They would be the first to complain if there was no entertainment. I remember there used to be a rock covers band called savannah and people moaned that much they put a sound limiter in my local club. After that whoever played, their sound cut out at least 10 times a set
  14. to be honest I may be totally wrong but it doe not feel any different . ill try and take a pic later
  15. you got storm on Holloway road. if your guitarist don't mind public transport instead of driving you can get overground from Clapham to highbury corner then a short walk

  19. for me its 1. location. (rehearsals for me normally mean me going straight from work so I don't want to have a 2 hour journey and then have to get home again) 2.age ( nothing against age at all im 38 but I cant see me having much in common with people in their early 20s when your sitting around waiting at gigs, travelling etc) 3.Travel ( I share a car with the wife so id like people that have ways and means of getting about comfitably) to add to 3. I don't mind giving people lifts, its just with some people it becomes known that YOU drive them everywhere.
