  3. Iron maiden - first metal band I ever listened to. metallica- when I first heard the black album my whole musical life changed pantera- was the pathway to heavier things but the southern groove has been ingrained in me and my playing forever

  6. a bit worse for wear set up and continued drinking . set time comes plug in and no sound. bemused looks all round until someone noticed id plugged into the wrong head

  9. I played the st Moritz club and they had o e of the tilted mark bass combos. I used my crappy affinity with a SD quarter pounder stuck in and I’ve never had a better live sound

  11. Only picked up the bass once this year while being deep in the depression that follows me around and just won’t quit resolutions ? Playing more often, finding a band and getting out there again

  14. Ive done this a few times and i used a 110-50 set. Depends on what style of music your playing as well. I was playing a lot of groove metal type stuff so liked a lot of give in the tension

  20. I had a guitar and a bass when I was younger and always loved Lemmy but it was when I heard Rex browns tone and playing on panteras far beyond driven that was a game changer for me
  21. I went yesterday and was pretty much other end of pitch, thought sound and Metallica were dire. Ghost were awesome though

  23. ive had a 6 since june and everyone has said to me how quiet it sounds when im on a call to them..... thought it was just me
  24. A chap called Shane Wesley. I see them at the borderline 2 weeks ago he was using a Fender P through a marshall stack thing it sounded monsterous
