Also got my eye on Oranges And Lemons in Battersea, they've got the RP3 but not the more expensive Pro-Ject. Are there any other central/SW London hifi shops anyone can recommend?

I've been trying to track down a replacement PSU for a Mark Bass pedal - mine's got a euro-style plug, being slightly OCD about such things I wanted a UK plug rather than a departure lounge adaptor. (It's one of those PSUs where the actual plus slots in and out so you can easily replace it depending on where you are) Cost of adaptor plus UK plug: £53.75 + VAT Cost of just the UK plug: £49.25 + VAT I'm off to Maplins to see what I can get. Failing that, a handy departure lounge will do.

Got mine as well! Agree about construction, although the three knobs on top feel a little flimsy, it's clear why the two metal guards are in place. Didn't have too much time to play last night, but been through the first ten or so presets with a big grin.

Regarding subs: Good idea, but for the low-frequency (sorry) sellers who don't sell much, it'll be off-putting. How about £20 for a year, or (say) a one-off £2 for an individual item? (sorry if this has been covered before, I didn't read the whole thread)

I've learnt that it's never a good idea to argue with the soundman. If they keep up the attitude, then the band (not just the guitarists) will get a reputation not only at this venue, but also others that the same soundman works at. If the band finds itself without a repeat booking at the venue you've mentioned, you'll have a good idea why. Sorry to sound negative, but this has happened to me in the past!
