2. WOW Couldn't even come close to doing this justice but what a great instrument. I bet it sounds uberphat GLWTS
3.
Ahhhhh! Andy! Yes indeed a very fine machine! - Please don't let me play with that beast again! Lovely cabinet and 6x12 is quite a air shifting to behold! Buy with confidence, Andy is a top top guy! - Oh I also wanted to add, that this cabinet really doesn't feel like 35Kg - Surely it must be lighter? Dan p.s. - I must nab a pic or two as I don't think I ever photographed this cabinet when I had it!
Thanks Dan, head over and we'll take some family pics with it!
4. So an awesome, awesome cab. It is no stranger to BC, I bought it a few years back from Dood and it has served me very well. Huge sound, immense power handling. Very lightweight at around 35kg. There is nothing not to like frankly however as the quote goes "When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer" - I have enjoyed removing the heads of many punters with this but my needs have changed so I'm offering this up to see who is interested. The price is pretty much I what I paid for it but I would hope most would consider this fair given the unusual and quality nature of the cab. Ideally though I would prefer to trade for something of comparable quality but a little smaller so I can run with a more modular system i.e. couple with my Tecamp 2x12 (also from Dood Towers interestingly enough!). I'm quite open minded on what this might be but my back definitely favours lightweight gear! A portable 4x10 would not be out of the question. Anyway, pics to follow when I've got some decent light. The cab is used but in good condition - just a bit of wear on the loading ramps on the back. Finally I'm based in Norwich and there are no cardboard boxes big enough for this so you'd have to come and get it! Local-ish meet is possible of course... Thanks for looking!
5. Very good condition with original box and markbass stuff. Disc included with software on in case you can't be bothered to download it from the MB site! Generously velcro'd on the base. Just got this but it's not for me. Very nice piece of gear (very well made indeed) but the sounds are not what I'm after. Quite happy to trade for interesting pedals. IE subterranea or Xerograph would be welcome, alternatively some other synthy octave filtery madness. Clearly just the SS and not other bits. Markbass PSU is included though:
6. I'm not in the market at the moment but that looks like a very nice bass for the money. Glwts
7. Lovely. Of the many quality basses I've been lucky enough to degrade with my playing Roscoe is still on the to do list. The Koa looks great here too - does it have much of an impact tonally? The Ash/Maple combo is familiar territory...
8. Totally smitten with this. By the time I could afford a Trace back in the day they'd moved onto series 6 with the dodgy plastic covers and push switches. Still a great amp which I gigged for many years but I felt that these were the definitive article. This looks to be in great nick and I'm sure it will be an immense amp irrespective of the age. Glwts, I might go and raid the kids piggy banks.....
9. Poss the best filter and a top seller. Glwts
10. Back atchya! On hold pending the norm...
11. Quick one - due to impending real estate problems in the borough of pedalboard I'm looking to move this on and replace with the mini version. In mint condition with velco on the bottom. £35 for a quick sale inc UK postage. Used mainly powered but it also has a fresh 9v cell in it. If by any chance someone has the small version and wants to trade then I would describe that as providence...... :-) If you need some pics pm me but it is pretty much as per the stock pic: Cheers! Abd
12. Great pre. Fwiw not to hard to fit this into a pedal size housing, instant outboard preamp for use with any bass. Glwts..
13. On hold pending payment
14. No idea kev. I picked this up from shep a few years back specifically for something that tracked really well for natural sounding pitch bends. It's without parallel on this imo. However there are some great octave and filter sounds in there too which I've got good use from. Lots of other stuff too. It is complex but it's on the right side of the line for me! They don't seem to come up often, I guess there is a reason for this. The only reason I'm looking to sell is to help fund a moog minataur or similar synth module, I'd consider px if anyone has something like that. Apologies again for the lack of pics, I will attend to this asap.
15. Anyone interested? Fantastic pedal, without a doubt the best pitch tracking. Some great effects possible and tremendous flexibility around how you configure it. One that I thought I would not sell but requiments change, needs must etc! I'll post some photos ASAP but the unit is in excellent condition and comes with the original box and docs. Psu is included but this is not the original. For now here is a link to the full eventide spec:https://www.eventideaudio.com/products/stompboxes/pitch-delay/pitchfactor Cheers Abd
16. Sorry for the brief post, I'm not around the pc for a few days. Great kit but not for me. 1 I prefer my moog and 2 the hot hand is not my style. Great sounds and does amazing wubs or sweeps. Both in top condition, hh with leads and charger. Mainly after a sale but px against a moog minitaur or similar is possible. Cheers! Abd
17. Totally agree. I was lucky enough to pick up my sei 6 this year, Martin is making some refinements at the moment but it is epic in every regard. I guess the market is just really, really slow... Glwts
18. I've been using one of these for a while now and can't speak highly enough. A great array of psuedo-drive tones is available on these plus nice warm MFness, you definately need the expression pedal to get the best out of it on either the drive frequency or poss the waveshape. GLWTs
19. Ok but it does make me wonder. It looks like a decent bass but with such a huge drop in price and the lack of any benchmark I'm not really sure what this bass is worth. Also you mention you are selling it for someone else - is this ok in terms of the forum rules? Anyway enough stirring of the pot! It genuinely looks like a nice instrument, glwts whatever the price and whoever is selling it!
20. I use the freeze, mainly for dominant pedals and the like. It's really good as it is very simple but you still have a latch or momentary option.
21. I love this even though it's not something I really need. Out of interest whereabouts would you get new foam and go about cutting it to fit your bass? This is exactly the sort of project that would start with me, foam and a knife only for it to end with me on the floor, very angry and surrounded by lots of useless pieces of foam.
